Why 2x2? My sliders utilize a 2x3 stick that the DOM round stick for outer rail connect too. Save the 2x2 for your frame ties.

No, this is for the frame ties. The body of the sliders are complete. I cut the original frame ties off because these were welded on the previous owners truck and they slagged them off with a plasma.

So last time I talked to my dad he mentioned he bought a pop-up camper frame because he was going to build a little teardrop. He said he abandoned that plan and I could have it. Sounds like a helluva project. Maybe look into that next year? My original idea was to do like another member on here that converted an enclosed trailer, but idk. We'll see. Also run into the problem of I have no space to work on it...

Chop the vin plate off and build your own purpose built frame.

I need to find an alignment solution. I want JD Lower pivots but that's money I don't have. I do have marlin gussets I could weld on, but I'm hesitant if I'm gonna chop everything for the JD later. Pretty sure my alignment backed out and my caster is negative because At full bump lock I can feel the tire grabbing the CMC still. Either that or I need to put it up and look at it because it could be rubbing something else nearby. That's just how it feels.
Need to spend some time looking the truck over, but being in and out of the hospital with Cayleigh has been a big time suck for anything else. At least she's starting to get better. She ate a whole plate of pasta at the Hospital yesterday and today ate a whole taco!

I have some of the taco tabs and alignment has been locked in for the year I’ve had them with some heavy abuse off road. Cheap removable option as well.

That's what I've got too. Actually knocked it out of alignment and bit after a year I think eith these and the TC gussets and it'll be really hard to knock it out of alignment

Yeah it would be solid with those. I have the marlin kit that’s been sitting forever and I’ve just been too lazy to put on. Last trip I actually bent one of the Lca tabs into the bushing which that would have saved from happening…

One of mine were slightly bent too lol. I have the TC gussets and the Marlin kit sitting on a shelf in my garage. It's only been about 2 years or so :anonymous:

Mine got bent by Firestone. I asked for +4 caster (2 from SPC uppers which I set, and then 2 from the Alignment) and they came out and were like "We got you +5." I checked that night and the tab was bent. :annoyed:

@T.Barn @Sasquatch3153 Do you just install and align yourself using whichever way the tabs align right? I know next to nothing about alignments except you want 0 toe, 0 camber, and good positive caster.
