Mark, actually I’m a bit disappointed SP doesn’t have a Fantastic Fan option. They have worked excellent in all my trailers and campers. The SP roof may not be able to support it. I’ll be looking at that once I get mine.
Mean time there are a number of clip on, stand, etc types I have seen either earlier on here, on the Wedge life forum, or the Vagabond forum. You might try search.

Working on some mounts for myself and will hopefully be a tester for possible future batches. I'll be using 10-32 Stainless socket head cap screws and Zinc plated steel serrated T slot fasteners. I found a combo I like and am going to try. Should fit the SP slots fairly well and sit just sub flush and be easy to use, not fall out, etc. I made the hole an arbitrary angle to get maximum clearance with the smallest footprint I could but still centered to make it aesthetically pleasing. Still working on final designs and sizing, but this is my starting point. I might add another thru hole or slot for a lashing point, possibly through the sides perpendicular to the top, making it run vertical.. idk. Anything you guys would like to see? Features? Keep it simple? Size and form factor more important than utility? I am planning to engrave with my logo and Cerakote in some fancy gold-ish color this go around. Size is 2.5" long by .875" wide by .625" tall with .150" fillet/corner rounds.

Unfortunately not my idea, there are a couple options out there.. but I like making my own.. and if others like them, I'll do some extras. I bought poles and hardware to do a few for right now.

    something like this maybe.

This also just happened to me. My back right tire was on a large rock to even out the camper so I could sleep. I was trying to get it to close and it wouldn’t. The same pin on the strut (as shown in your photo) was catching against the rail. Pretty disappointed. Although once I moved off of the rock, I was able to close it fine but the damage is done. Curious what they say. I will reach out as well.

@XPOTRPR definitely interested! I went to our local metals and got some scrap aluminum stock and poles. Poles may be a tad thin... Still have to try it out. But if yours work, let me know. TIA

Same thing thats been gone over multiple times now. I even posted the same pictures, symptoms and solutions per SP. Whack them back into position. Cause is from not deflating enough or over stuffing, and material's inside the camper pressing out onto those mounts. Vibes/friction over time wears the aluminum extrusions. I'm sure there's a change coming, otherwise it's a simple fix to a not so common problem.

Will do. Test piece fits nicely. I'll try and machine the prototypes this week.

The finished product will look even better. My goal is to have a high quality part using high quality materials and hardware with a high quality finish and coating. Quality and attention to detail is important to me.. it's key to what I have to do every day. I just want people to know what they're getting if these get some interest.

Sounds like if you dont leave your bedding up there and deflate the mattress all the way, there is no issue. Othwr than maybe being parked and the things is a little twisted

Have you tried looking at the products discussed box at the bottom of the page? That fan was discussed way back in the thread.

Caframo ultimate 12v fan with industrial velcro. It's a shame we can't keep a wiki on all of the stuff in here.

Wife and I played ditch-day yesterday and spent the day hanging out by the river, relaxing, playing card games. Still rocking our old 12v fan, but it did come in handy yesterday when it got a little hot. Definitely going to pick up 2 of those Caframo fans. Water setup worked out great and the little breather I added to cap allows the tank to expand and breathe when needed. Hopefully going to make a set of the pole mounts and test those out.. they would of been handy yesterday as well.
