The old Honda oddesys had a cooler console. I wish Toyota would do the same. ive also thought of running a drain line from the console to outside somewhere so I could just ice down the center console and keep sodas in there and let the ice water drain out to the ground.

Eibach suspension, nitto ridge grapplers (factory size with 1" spacers), Ripp coils, k&n blackhawk intake, magnaflow exhaust, magnuson sc, j&l catch can, optima yellow battery. ARB onboard twin woth tank ordered. ECGS front and rear with 5.29 and arb lockers coming next.
I would love a v8 in the tacoma. As for the cup holders they work just fine if you drink fast enough. Only issue I see with them is that nothing fits in them. (M/T at least, don't know of the autos are the same size) Otherwise yeti35 stocked in the bed at all times and a 6pack cooler riding shotgun (for the longer drives)..
.. be safe out there boys. Gotta watchout for those BAD drunk drivers. They ruin it for the rest of us.

Just do it, totally worth it. If the road scares you then get a dirt bike or dual sport and go where the cars can't.

No. I've watched a couple episodes of Law and Order and Judge Judy so I can tell you that unless you are both drinking AND driving you will get off completely free.

I'd be strictly street riding. I'm a bit long in the tooth for going off-road on a motorcycle. Every week there's a fatality in metro Phoenix.
Seems like every week there are wrong-way drivers on the freeway as well - not sure what the problem is but I suspect drinking and
driving plays a large role in all of this, coupled with cell phones and weed the disasters are everywhere. I think in 5 years I've seen 3
State Patrol vehicles - there needs to be like 1,000 more...

As along as you're sober when the light changes or it's your turn at the intersection. :notsure: But seriously, don't.

42 percent of motorcycle riders who died in single-vehicle crashes had blood alcohol concentrations of .08 or higher. It's the motorcycle riders driving around drunk. Also, 33 percent of motorcycle riders involved in fatal crashes were traveling too fast for conditions.

Toyota Land cruiser has a cooler center console..I would like to see a Tacoma or Tundra owner add one and do a Mod article on it..the Tacoma center console is smaller so it may actually cool faster or colder..sure someone could find the part #s so it can be ordered..unfortunately being from the Land Cruiser may make it financially unfeasible as it may cost serious money for the parts to do so..Although the Sienna also has a cooler option that maybe be more affordable..and just maybe be pull out of a crashed vehicle for the Mod prototype..

I'd venture that talking on a phone is way less of a problem than texting as you (most people) can talk and drive without
having their eyes leave the field of view. Looking down to text is like closing your eyes and driving.

I don't understand why automobile cabs can't insulate against reception on phones so nothing can happen while you are in
motion. Some kind of static field generated inside the cab while the wheels are turning to keep the phone from doing anything.

I would venture 10,000 lives a year would be saved and 50,000 accidents avoided.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't really care for cold drinks. I prefer room temp for my water and whiskey.

I do enjoy a cold Topo chico but it never sits around long enough to get warm. Even then I still drink them room temp half the time
