My neighbors parents are in the process of moving to Pennsylvania from Maryland; They have two newer Hondas and this 1993 Chevy S-10 that my neighbor's mom inherited from her dad. The truck needs a tiny bit of work, but runs and drives great; It has the odd and rather slow combination of a 2.5L 4-banger and a 4-speed slushbox, and the only options it has aside from power steering are A/C and a cassette player. Just under 153K miles on the clock and it just completed a trip from Baltimore with no issues, though the A/C does not currently work and it was a little warm. I am going to be acting as a consultant on parts for this truck!

Just like the all base model Tacomas older than 2020, this S-10 does not have intermittent wipers!

F**king dealership fumbled hard and now I'm pissed they opened up the crate and realized they had the base model duke not the duke R. Was supposed to be picking it up on Saturday now its a no go. Wtf. I'm alittle heated right now.. it's the wrong bike. Smh

There is actually a big difference between the base model and the R model.
R MODEL has bigger brakes fully adjustable suspension. More horse power more torque. And is able to turn off all rider aides abs traction control and so on.

I was just about to ask about the base and the R. I almost purchased a Duke a last year I don't think it was an R. Walked in thought, hey that looks cool I want one. Boss lady did not approve.

Yup. I think the worst part is that I spent an hour yesterday on the phone with insurance company and gave them a vin number to a bike that the dealer doesn't even have. So there's that. I think this one of the biggest issues I'm dealing with right now.

Yup want to get a bed cover eventually but appreciate the tag.

@Taco critter did you put it on Craigslist already? Maybe it will fit other minis too like S-10, Ranger etc ?

Bummer. I saw they had "GP" listed as coming soon. So annoying when they do not keep the inventory lists up to date. Sorry about that.

There was a KTM dealer in Coopersburg near the place I bought my Triumph but I cannot recall the name of the place.

Odd question… mower smoked yesterday on start up, very large, lingering cloud that went off, and then lightly smoked for a minute. Shut it off, called Deere, he said is the oil over full? No. That it shouldn’t be doing to do that. Asked if I had a leaking valve gasket, I told him I wouldn’t think so as I got it replaced under warranty last year, and I didn’t see any drip on the muffler. So he says run it. Smoke stops about 2 minutes of idling so I mow. Today I start it up, and I see things flying out of my exhaust… they appear to be what looks like red paint chips? Any ideas here?

I'm assuming the cloud was blue smoke (oil).
Could be bits of carbon coming out of the exhaust.
