If any one needs ideas on a trans cooler. I went with a dual pass heat sink for less turbulence therefore fluid flows back a little easier to the transmission. My understanding is that the tube and fin have more pass/turns to create more turbulence to pull out heat. Heat sinks are supposed to better when little to no air flow is present but when moving, will fully benefit. Preferred not to stack in front of all the radiators so I'll cut vents in the front skid. The black plastic board is mock up for the metal bracket I'll "fab". Above the trans cooler is enough space for an engine oil cooler

Any of you with E-Fans running the DEO fan kit with the Camaro fan and Lingernfelter controller? I "found" a Lingenfelter controller that I apparently ordered at some point and forgot about. Wondering if any of you have the instructions on how they set up the controller re: the dip switches and which PWM wire they used (orange or yellow)?

Do you still have the DEO instructions? I’m trying to figure out how to hook it up. I guessed at it and mine runs at 100% all the time regardless of temp, and when I send +12v to the white override wire it runs at like 15% duty.

I have all the dip switches in the down position and using the orange PWM wire to the fan. I’m thinking either I have a dip switch wrong or I'm misunderstanding the charts in the Lingenfelter instructions and I’m using the wrong PWM wire.

I'm not sure if I do to be honest. I can check to see if I do.

As far as the fan running, apparently it is designed to be run at constant duty, so the condition is normal. As far as your running all the time issue regardless of temp. Definitely NOT normal. Something is maladjusted or connected wrong with yours.

The white wire is not supposed to be used unless you want to bypass certain features like temperature controlled enable. This is a problem that many of us running the setup ran into. This is the fault of the controller, not the fan.

I have not disassembled the unit to check the dip switches as they were set by DEO if I remember right and they were not supposed to be changed for our setups.

I'll definitely have to check for the instructions. I'll get back to you. In the meantime I hope the above was somewhat helpful.

I found these pics from @Amo-cat3 in his for sale thread. If his is unchanged since receiving from DEO, then I simply used the wrong PWM wire and have the device select pot in the wrong position.

His device select is pointing at “0” (mine is on “1”) and the harness has the yellow PWM wire populated (mine is hooked to orange).

I’m going to try those options and see if it behaves as expected.

Question. Any body with any experience of defects, issues or anything negative experiences. On the URD 7th injector setup for 4.0 v6.
To me it sounds like a good idea but I would like to hear experience folks on super charger mods!

Only URD can tune the UCON.

OTT offers flash services via HPTuners & VFTuner platforms which are OE ECU reflashing tools.

I have the UCON, 68pph injectors and a 7th injector. I like it. The only issue I've been working to resolve is something that a lot of us deal with regardless of ecm, which is torque vectoring and ecu interrupting power application. I like my UCON and it makes good horse power. The 7th injector for me is mainly cooling the intake charge, not for additional power.

I’d rather do this and stay with HPTuners than add more complexity with the UCONN.

Yes my choice so far is the OTT tune I'm just waiting to get back home to install the exhaust cam sprokets and replace the timing chains since there going to brake the front end apart after that straight to get tune. Last time I was home I installed the spec U headers and all the serpentine velt pulleys to aluminum and 2.8 SC pulley maybe I'll get the 2.7 but I don't know if that is going to far because I hear the best efficiency is 2.8 because heat creation by the compressor.

The pulley selection all changes with the installation of headers and low restriction exhaust. I’m a fan of going to smaller pulleys once you go to headers. I’m very happy with my 2.5 pulley.
