Hi All, recently bought a 2nd gen 2009 5mt and the previous owner installed a K&n cai, this piece is broken and stock airboxes at wreckers around me want an arm and a leg.
Could I jb weld this? What would be best course of action to repair

Try and get some less blurry pictures. Can't tell what you are referencing.

That bracket looks to be a "Custom" made P.O.S. I'd keep looking to replace the whole intake with stock (keep an eye on the For Sale Forums here). As a temp stupid fix I might consider putting a fender washer on those bolts in the pic.

From the looks of the connection going to the air filter it's sucking in dirt to your engine. Do what Bkinzey said.

Would this be the full assembly I need to go back to stock, including all the hoses and everything?
Really appreciate the help everyone, dad was never around to help me with this stuff so its all new to me.
How would the washer connect to the bracket? I believe those are engine bolts unrelated to the intake?

I think that’s for a 4 banger. Edit: I’m an idiot. Yes, it looks like the one
