Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Bearpaw works too. Where is the camping there? Scout camp? As it gets closer, things will firm up in regards to food, whatever.

There was a bar/pizza place I believe in Lakewood that burned last year, any news if they are going to rebuild?

What was it called? There are a few bars and restaurants along 32 in the area.

I don't go up there every week.. I'm sure it got cleaned up before I would have noticed. Besides, I don't hang out in town. I just pass through on the way to the trails.

I hear ya, that question was to @OldSchlPunk as I figured he was familiar with the area.
I only get up there once a year going to the races in Crandon, back when we were only going up for a day we would stop there on the way back for pizza which was really good.

Haven't been to Lakewood in years, just remember there were a couple of places to eat. The placed that burned, if it's the place I'm thinking of and still the same owner, he was shady as eff and probably burned it himself.

As far as I remember the place was closed for awhile and reopened a couple of years ago selling mostly pizza which was really good.
It was on the north side of town had grey siding and a stockade type fence with a kinda u-shaped driveway/parking lot.

Ha! That's the place I was thinking of. Couldn't possibly be the same owner...his son, though...

Got a text from my Dad today. They decided last minute to come vacation back home in Wisconsin. Guess when? The second week of June of course during the Pipeline outing! Haven't seen them up here in 2+ years and they had to pick that week.

Tell ya what sometimes I'd like to meet whomever is running the Universe simulation and kick them square in the nuts. This kind of stuff always happens to me, tired of it. Count me as a 50/50 last minute decision now if I will be there...

    Yup.

And, unfortunately, I might miss some or all of it.

You gonna come see the Pipeline?

    Just checking in on this.

I have some personal stuff going on, so I might make only part of the June 10-12 trip at best. At this point, I'm hoping to be up Friday early, and either leave Saturday morning or Saturday evening. But, I'll let everyone know if that changes.
