    99% of people on this forum have a similar set up. 3" lift with 285s is probably the most common set up. On 2nd gens you shouldn't really feel the need for a regear. I've been running 295s and it's not bad either. Personally don't feel any major loss of power but now it's been so long since I've been in a stock truck it would be hard to say.
