    Maybe if you think:
    • Starliner is the airliner to the ISS; and
    • Orion is shooting for the moon and beyond..
    Related, Orion’s first mission is uncrewed Artemis 1. It won’t have missions called ‘Demonstration Mission’ (DM) as with Dragon or Orbital Flight Test (OFT) missions like Starliner.

    I think what was confusing me was OFT-2. For some reason I thought that was the cargo mission for Orion.

    Starliner. Orion is the capsule meant for moon and Mars and is to be launched on the SLS rocket that uses solid rocket booster(SRB) auxiliaries (like the space shuttle).
