Yes. Crown Performance. +3" is safe for option 1 at full droop. Should be good for option 3 as well unless you have crazy long shocks.

If I am following along correctly you plan to have 200lbs of static load. Option 3 will put you somewhere in the 2-2.5" of rear lift with that amount of weight. Assuming you want a level truck you would need to have the front lifted 3". If you want OEM rake you'd only need 2" up front. 600lbs at option 3 is 1.125" - different than the 1.875" than you referenced. Long story short an unladen Option 3 truck is going to ride a little stiff in the rear. Even 200lbs will begin to engage the leaf pack so you should be just fine to set it and forget it there.

Thank you. I must've misquoted from the Icon graphic. I've got Fox 2.5s up front and should get 2" no problem. Is the 2-2.5" for the rear an estimate for after the packs have settled?

    -break, break-

Is the installation of extended brake lines a pain? Does it not require flushing the system? I have Wheeler's +4" but never needed them for option 1.

Yeah you should land at about 2" after everything settles in.

    -Broken-

You'll need to bleed the brakes after the extended lines. Is it fun? Never. Is it difficult? No, especially if you have another person with you to pump the brakes (no pun intended).

I have not experienced any difference in ride quality. You're also driving a truck that's rather rugged and not a grand marquis so I'm not too sure what people's ride comfort expectations are when buying a tacoma to begin with.

Additionally, I do not have extended brake lines and I'm running the standard trd pro fox suspension with westcott fronts and option 3 rear. No problems here and my rear brake lines are not tight or stressed. Again, cannot speak for people using other suspension systems.

Thanks. I looked up some other posts here. Sounds like it's a learning curve for me since I've never done anything with the brake system besides inspect and clean.

I'll just go with option 3. I don't expect my taco to be luxorious, just wanted to know if I was gonna feel it in the butt. If it ends up being too much, I'll either throw some more weight back there or bite the bullet and step to option 2.

In case anyone is curious, an option 3 RXT should be roughly 2.75" thick. I measured option 1 at about 2.25" and the extra leaf is a little under 3/8". I was looking for new round u-bolts and settled on some that were 7.5" in length from Rough Country. With a 3.25" axle diameter, I should be covered...guess we'll find out.

This may not work for everyone but I gravity bled the rear lines and got all the air out. Brakes are firm as before the extended lines and only took 1 min per side

How’s the ride?! I’m guessing it’s a lot more harsh/stiffer since the txt upgrade

Option 2 installed. I’m kind of thinking I should have went with option 1 since I don’t usually carry much weight. Just eyeballing, does the height/stance look alright?
