I thought there was some estimate of HP per fuel sprayed and since we know the orange/yellow Denso TRD Injectors are 455cc/min... I think my memory says something like 400hp?

For my setup, using the Camaro fan with GM 213-4333 sensor. All dip switches down, device select 0 and yellow PWM wire. Fan working good.

I set the max speed temp to a high temp (250F). The engine will probably never see that so the fan won't be at 100% drawing 70 amps and constantly sounding like a jet engine..

For A/C activation you can use the white override wire if you like cold A/C, dead battery and jet engine sounds. If those are deal breakers, the Autocoolguy Icebox or a PAC TR-7 can be used as a pulse stretcher to turn the compressor clutch signal from on-off-on-off-on into a constant input to trigger a couple of standard SPDT relays that will isolate the temp sensor from the controller and instead inject a chosen resistor value to trick the Lingenfelter into commanding a speed lower than 100%.

    I think you can support a 2.6 or 2.7.

If you live in the desert heat, I think you really should look at cooling your intake charge the best you can. Meth if you go Hptuner, or a 7th injector if you go ucon.

Did a little research and stopped by an exhaust shop the other day to talk CA legal Y-pipe and exhaust options.
I like the place because the mechanic seems to have pretty good knowledge of Tacomas. He didn't think that doing anything to the y-pipe alone would give me any significant gains, even with the SC, 2.8" pulley, fuel pump, reflash, and URD TCAI. I pointed out that the pipe flattens out and has a smaller diameter at the junction. He told me the pipe is just doubled up there for an air gap to keep the tcase cool, same inside diameter the whole way.
As I understand the cats and exhaust manifolds are the bottlenecks. He did say I might see a couple hp by replacing the muffler, but not much, and I really hate to take a gamble with a droning exhaust. Not a fan of the ricey sound, or anything much louder than stock.
Took a look at the URD 3" Mark 3, TRD, and Magnaflows. Worth it to get just a muffler or skip it? Other thoughts?

Take it to another exhaust shop. The Y pipe is one of the most restrictive areas of the Tacoma exhaust and robs the supercharger of the airflow it needs to flow out all of the air it is moving.

Unfortunately the exhaust on our trucks is a huge issue in anything outside of the OE naturally aspirated configuration when you are talking about making good airflow. We are all running mostly custom configurations given that the supercharger is an afterthought add on, so custom problems require custom solutions.

I have zero drone with my setup by the way. ;)

I just installed the URD spec U headers and Y pipe right after the Y pipe installed an electric cut off valve connected to a vibrant ultra quiet resonator in to the OE muffler and my truck doesn't sound much louder than stock and I have the option to open the exhaust completely at the touch of a buttom.

has anyone ever detailed out an OEM emissions approved higher flowing setup? It’s my personal preference to keep the SAIS and all cats, and it doesn’t seem like anyone really talks about keeping all of those when they address opening up the exhaust.

How could you, if you're going to keep the restrictions? I'm putting together a new exhaust with a GESI 400cpi unit. Should be nicely rounded, but it'll never meet the qualifications you mention.

That’s what I was wondering. If there were higher flowing cats that still perform well as cats. From a V8 Toyota maybe?

My setup is 100% emissions approved. It retains the secondary cats in place, has the SAI setup and everything. It just changed the setup post secondary cats and then makes the piping from there and all the way back to 2.5" and changes the Y to an X pipe and adds in a cutout to change the x pipe to a y pipe setup under engine vacuum conditions up until boost, but all of it is post secondary cats which is all California cares about.

Right on. Recommend any shops in the Sac area? I'll be looking at your build page more closely tomorrow.

That sounds awesome! Had a friend with a Maverick 302, installed a handle to open the exhaust, man was that thing loud. Any issues with your exhaust valves?

I decided to keep my CA legal somewhat. JBA header (05-11 Tacoma: CARB EO D-57-33. Not sure about the newer '15 models) It's a shorty header with a GM cat welded in. Also ordered a 49 state AFE direct replacement y pipe that is Mandrel bent, no kink in the driverside cross under. Exits thru my 2.5" AFE high tuck. I really considered the URD EL headers but seems like more of a headache. I heard it's 300 or so for hush hush test these days.

    The cross under

I'll have to let you know. The parts are on back order. I ordered the passenger pipe also to replace both sides but I can definitely test fit a single side. From the page description, seems like one side will mate up with the opposing OE pipe.
