Pfft. Double facepalm. Didn't even notice. Now that I look at @Abeyancer's pics closer, he's doing control arms.

I like changing the bushings on rusty trucks because the cloud of rust dust the Sawzall blade makes when it's cut thru the bushing sleeve is the perfect warning to stop cutting

On rust free arms you don't know if you're there yet or too far

Lol. I guess if you want to put it that way, then yeah. I’m so over rusty shit. Makes everything 4x harder. I hate salt. It’s an environmental hazard and if you can’t drive through snow then you shouldn’t be driving.

Only helpful thing I found was fishing the front differential out.

I hate welding aluminum with a push-pull setup.

And of all the welds, these will be the most public :anonymous:

Oh yea, that makes sense.. I went with special custom bushings that required removing the outer sleeve. I think they were called Sonora Steel? They're sold as being 4R replacements but since the arms are the same I used em on my Tacoma.

I thought it was cool that he provided so much community content for first time DIYers but when he started the name calling in the thread answering questions about a kid wanting a glass pack for his first truck it was too much lol

Like... He's a teenager and gonna do it anyways regardless of whether you tell him to or not... we can help him do it safely instead of going at him or anyone telling him how to do it.

Oof. I'm not that far - he seems like a legitimate enough guy, I just take other routes to things.

Hah, I remember that. I appreciated his videos when I first started tearing into my truck but after watching a couple there was something about his demeanor that I found grating.. then that episode with the muffler happened
