Probably a dumb question but just wanted some verification so I don't waste a bunch of time and money.
Replacing my carrier bearing and am going to do u-joints while the driveshaft is out.
Part #: Spicer 5-1330-1X is what is recommended as a replacement, I just can't seem to find them anywhere locally, and no luck on rockauto.
Rock auto does have the DANA 5213X (https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinf...n=879&jsn=879&jsn=879&jsn=879&jsn=879&jsn=879) which seems like the same thing, just zerks in the middle of the u-joint instead on the end of one of the bearings.
Any reason why I couldn't get these?

Zerk in the middle of the joint gives better protection, particularly at the rear axle pinion flange.

Yea, thought that too. Doesn't seem like it's any harder to get a grease gun up in there as well.

Yeah access is fine, esp. compared to the front driveshaft U-joints which have a 90-deg zerk coming out of the center of the cross.

The corner of the cross is a high stress area. However, the 5213X has extra material around the zerk hole to compensate for it.

When I had my driveshaft rebuild after denting it, that’s what the guys at Cardanic did. It’s a bit a bitch to get to the middle one at the back, sometimes I I have lift the axle up or down to get the gun to reach there. Alternatively you can use a needle attachment, but I always loose it.

It's really hard to fuck up uppers, but worst comes to worst you'll change BJ and bushings, which isn't much. Paint them and put ICON stickers tho.

The install instructions show the UCAs use Moog ball joints and rubber bushings, same P/Ns as Moog's stock replacement parts. Should provide acceptable service life.

Since the bushings are rubber and not urethane like the photo mistakenly shows, be sure to tighten the UCA bolt with weight on the suspension.

Lol, so probably rubber bushings then. I noticed the discrepancy too but willing to accept what I get (preference for rubber)
