I had heard where the computer takes the most current MPG of your truck at the time of filling up, then uses that MPG to figure the new distance based on the fuel now in your tank. Seems to make sense but I have not verified it.

 

I’m just trying to figure out if you meant you like an RV/camper or being kicked in the nuts.

Lucky! It’s $6.39 average here in Cali! Guess I’ll be retiring to the desert.

 

You got 5.29’s in rear as well…..never mind, of course you did.

 

As noted here's a comparison of the OEM shifter vs the Faux and obviously the OEM is a much better quality. Much more polished look and feels slightly smoother as the faux one was a little rough around the edges. The OR shifter definitely feels best.

Was it worth the price? If you're super particular about your set up, then buy once cry once, which is what I should have done. In the end its purely cosmetic so If you can find one for 50-70 and you've been wanting one, why not. Hopefully this will help some of you with your buying decision. Good night.

 

oh and you can see how it's slightly shorter from the side profile hence my chrome delete issue around the boot.

 

I experienced that driving 7.5 hours to Joshua Tree a couple of weeks ago. My DTE increased pretty much every fill up since it was all freeway driving.

 

Sewed this steering wheel wrap. My truck feels so much more personal and ‘mine’. I recommend this mod.

Cleaned my bed out from camping this past weekend…

 

Soft toppers do sort of "make the truck"! I run rolled up "Safari" as much as it can be practical.

 

yeppers.....if you were bored you go driving around for 4 hours...... bummer
