Just wanted to share my experience that I had with my 2021 Tacoma trd premium at the Toyota dealer recently for the first service I complained about my brake pedal slow sinking when engine running park/drive they told me that was normal, oh really I said.On my second service complained about my brake pedal again I said look this is not normal it feel soft so when I picked up my truck they said :check brakes everything normal I think when they say normal they don’t know what’s wrong with it.So i purchased a foxwell nt650 elite scanner and did the abs bleeding …brake pedal is back to normal . Oh ya I’m going back to the dealer & have a little chat with that manager

Welcome to the "Looney Tunes" of Forums!

Not really, this place is mild-mannered. Buahahaha!

I can't even say that with a straight face.

Back to your intro...these stories are almost becoming the NORM in some places. I've been fortunate that my '21 Sport has not had any issues that are considerably noticeable.

Good luck with your meeting with the dealership.

I'm not sure what you expect to gain by having a chat with the manager. He'll probably just call you an asshole under his breath or ignore you completely.

People make mistakes and miss things. Let it go. The best way to get back at that dealership is to never go back and never give them any business at all.

Never take it back to the dealer as they will write you off. I have my Taco TRD Sport 2021 Premium serviced at my local mom and pop garage .If they see anything unusual during my service then they will tell me and if and then I will take it to the Dealer then this way I have proof of the problem and they cannot deny or come up with a lame excuse like " that's normal " bullshit.

I disagree with the posts saying “let it go”. It’s important dealerships get feedback when they misdiagnose a problem. While I wouldn’t show up at the mangers office I would certainly call and ask to speak to the manager.

Don’t waste your time going back to the manager unless you explain to him/her that you are posting all this on their reviews, Facebook and Instagram page. But that’s a better place to post it. If you tell the manager then the manager knows. If you bluet it out all over the magical wide world web, Well then some fool might read it.

    Pustard.
If a service manager cares about the quality of work in his shop he will value the feedback.

I appreciate all your input on what to do I might send the manager a Email let him know what happened & what I did to correct the issue & maybe get compensated like 2-3 free oil changes …you think I’m dreaming in 3d here is it worth a shot ya think or should I just stand down & take it without the washer

I wouldn’t ask for any compensation but certainly an email letting them know they did not diagnose your problem is a good idea. The sheeples who never say a word essentially enable service departments to continue to give bad service.
