Nope. Fill up when it's empty, just like before. Still have places to be and things to do.

I'm still planning on a 9500k mile trip this summer. Kind of going back and forth on replacing my less than a year old Wildpeak MT's with something more fuel efficient. Would still need to be an E rated tire because my Taco is a bit of a pig and durability will really matter where I'm heading. If I did the math right a 1 mpg increase would only save me 4 tanks of gas over the whole trip, doesn't really cover a set of AT's I guess.

Higher gas prices have affected me somewhat being retired now. I think more about consolidating trips when i use the truck.

I’ve not modified my use much . It has seen light use overall as I do not need to commute. I always try to bike to places when able anyway.

I proceeded to buy a ‘big truck’ with a ‘big engine’ (biggest displacement I’ve ever owned) because I do not need to drive much.

I do enjoy the functionality for camping and the bit of off-roading we do… which was the main reason to get the taco.

I only rarely drive in town. I do enjoy taking it on long-ish trips.

Our other car is 30mpg+ And gets used - mostly by my wife to run around town.

I parked my truck 3 weeks ago. At close to $9 gallon it was more in gas than a 6 pack to commute the 22 miles everyday. I can bicycle to work to stay in shape and build up a big summer driving/ camping fund.

Now that gas is up and the weather is nice, swapped the 15mpg truck for the 80mpg bike thats WAY more fun for daily commuting! :bikewheelie2:

Firestone destination XT's, 215/85 R16's, app. 36 pounds each, E rated, great tires. Gained me 3mpg's over 245/75 BFG KO's. Quieter and better in snow as well. Not as absolutely bombproof, however, but still beefy.

Still driving my truck, gas is close to $8 a gallon in American prices. $2 a litre north of the border. Seems like y'all have it pretty good down there. Definitely going to get a cheap beater commuter car soon though, just something cheap and fun to drive in the summer. I'd like an older sporty car, even an early 2000s Celica lol, so good on fuel.

I'm looking for a "beater with a heater" as well. I live right in the city, so small cars make sense in so many ways.

Nope. Back from a 2500 mile UT trip, going on a 3500 mile CO trip in a month. This weekend, for the fun of it, we'll be doing a bonzai run east and then west across a slightly modified course of the Mojave Road. Looking for the Rio Colorado.

I make more than minimum wage but I don't enjoy setting money on fire so yes, my habits have changed. Being in the North, it now takes $140-$150 to fill my truck. My wife has a '16 Corolla Sport that we drive if we're travelling together and weather permitting, I ride my motorcycle to work. Both of those use a fraction of the gas that my truck does.

Nope, I don't miss a gasoline powered car at all (especially as a daily driver), and I've modded every car I've had in the past (from turbocharged 4-cylinders to V8s). My 2022 Model 3 Performance is a blast to drive, and I fixed its inherent handling woes by installing Mountain Pass Performance "sports" coilovers + alignment/corner balance.

My company pays for my fuel used for work which is all of it. Have a 1000 mile round trip nine day Baja adventure coming up in less than a week. Mexican gas is running a bit above $4/gal ($6.40 in Sandy Eggo!) so I’ll be shit-eating grinning all week down there!

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
I am not. I take it instead of my wife's Escape, even though that gets better mileage. I drive how I want, where I want, and to hell with this BS gas price fixing to force us to stop using our gas powered vehicles.
