Bluebird was the one I was thinking of up near Burlington. yup, BT’s is good. Blue Ribbon does Carolina style, heavy vinnegar for my taste BUT I’m flexible.

Bear’s out by Hartford by the airport is okay, I’ve had better, but they do a nice stop.

Yup, BT’s. It’s good, it’s one of the best for New England :spy: There’s this food trailer outside a sports bar in Austin called Brown’s BBQ that is probably my favorite across the country I’ve had. I won’t get into my thoughts about Franklin right now

Cranston was Bonetown but I haven’t been in about 2 years so I don’t know if it’s still there.

YUP. But F it, I could be convinced of it being a thing.

:rofl:I was asking about the Sunday June 12th. Day! Didn't know if it should be a repeat of the Treehouse meet or go a different route. Realized it was never really discussed.

I think I could do a "Treehouse" and then "BT's BBQ" day on the 12th of June

:spy: I could absolutely be convinced to get BBQ instead of (what I presume to be) pizza that doesn’t fit my annoyingly high and specific standards

PS - this weekend, I haven’t been to treehouse, my sister and brother in law always get it and I’ve had a few at their house. Is it an order ahead online sort of thing or what?

…Edit and by this weekend I mean not this weekend at all.

Last time I went, you stand in line. While in line, you fill out a paper that list the beers available, and put the quantity of each one you want. (Some have limits)

For purchasing Cans.....it is an Online order, then they set the limits of the specific things that you can get and then you pay for it online, then go there with your order number and the get it together for you. For ordering drafts on site, you still purchase tickets online with your phone at anytime, even while you are there, and then show the person behind the counter your "online ticket". They give you a wristband and check your ID the first time they get there for anyone that is staying for drafts. Regarding BT's smokehouse, it is best to order online, go there and pick it up, and then drive to Treehouse and you can eat outside in their huge Pavilion. If you don't order online first at BT's, you may honestly be waiting in line, at the place for over an hour (during busy hours) just to put in your order. That is what we should technically doe. Order BT's online, go pick it up, and then hangout at Treehouse.

They stopped doing the "Fill out this paper" ordering system a while ago. I think that was Pre-Covid

Cool. Sounds like a pretty well oiled machine!

Two things. 1 aren’t we going to tree house next weekend? Are we doing BT’s and TH next weekend? :D

Secondly, might make sense to see if one person can pick up at BT’s instead of all going. Everyone puts their orders in for Mr. GarlicFarts to pick up, for example. Especially it being memorial day weekend

Nothing too exciting. There's a band I like called Eisbrecher. They haven't toured here that I know of. I happened to be on vacation while they were on tour. So a few weeks before I bought a concert ticket and a plane ticket. Was worth the trip.

Yes, Treehouse next weekend and I am absolutely down for both!
Probably a good idea to have 1 or 2 go get it unless we want to caravan and try a Taco takeover. That could be fun too.

This is my morning route! It's the long way but I'm getting my kids a canoe and a bamf grille for @Johnny balls . Lots of winners tomorrow.

Not to long ago @crashngiggles and I went to Philly for cheese steaks.

Plenty of people travel hours to see a concert. Across the ocean, well :notsure:

I've traveled a couple hours just for food. My cravings haven't brought me that far.. yet

Haha, though I suppose there are a handful of bands I'd do that for if the situation was right.

I did a 6 hour round trip to Maine to see Queensryche though..food, eh..an old friend and I did a food tour from MA to CT ending at Mohegan Sun for the night
