People swap hoods all the time. Fender flares tell a story tho.

Anyone have thoughts on what type of tonneau cover that might be? tri-fold of some sort.

    OP,

If you have VIN, then you can look it up and you will get the details about that truck..

Looks like an off-road. Only the off-road and pro have those fender flares, and the pro has a hood scoop. those fender flares + no scoop = off-road

The off-road has chrome rear bumper caps, but it’s possible to paint over them or replace them with color matched caps.

Pictures of the 4wd/mts/cc/atrac/locker controls would make this more precise and/or the brake booster. Pics of the shocks and front driveshaftsmight help as well.

The very best way is using the VIN.

Someone changed around on the truck.. meaning they changed the flares, all that stuff.

It came from Mexico. My truck came from Texas.

More photos will help... such as interior, overhead where the sunglass holder is.

My off road has a sunglass holder. What goes up there if you don't have it?

You can also get a painted rear bumper on the Off Road.

Oh, was hoping there would be something more fun than a sunglass holder. Installing a crawl box seems like more work than I'd want to do at this time. Thanks!

It was part of the Premium and Tech Package on mine, but think it's related somehow to the rear sonar, thinking the sensors don't work with chrome.

I didn’t choose any of my options. I bought the only OR 6MT on the lot; possibly in the state. :)

Look close at the side mirrors. SR and SR5 do not have the turn signal indicator on them. This truck looks like it has smoke lenses on them. It's most likely a trd OR.

If it’s debadge, it’s hard to tell from the outside. Can’t be a sport b/c sport has matching color fender. Either sr5 or OR due to the matching color mirror. Some sr5 has black mirror though. My guess maybe wrong, the owner could change all of those. Looking at the inside would help.

RAV4, Tacoma, 4runner, have same size mirrors... you can easily swap them out for the ones with signal indicators.

VIN shows SR5 but I guess TRD models are based on SR5 plus features based on trim levels.

Window sticker should show the trim level.

Some people can change items to confuse others. For example, you bought SR5 then you added Pro stuff on it... That makes people think you have actual pro model.
