Thanks. I have two other companies coming out next week to give me estimates. My unit is OLD, pushing 30 years. I'm just looking to replace so as not to have to worry about it possibly dying middle of summer and being without AC for days-week and paying insane prices. I got a couple over the phone quotes for 8-10k which is what I was expecting it to be.

What kind of unit/seer are they offering though?

212K on it, so just replacing them...can't remember when I replaced them last, but think it was 140K-ish.

Test fit for my T nut specifically for the SP went well. Drops in and rotates while tightening.

I was very impressed. For me, they don’t have a solution for me being so tall. That being said, I really liked the base setup. The 30min talking to them, they have dropped the lead time and have many new features in the pipeline.

It would.. But not as good of a fit.. just like the proprietary t nuts that are out there now for the GFC won't fit the SP as nice. They both have their own extrusion designs that are slightly different.

Yes sir! They just moved and are cranking them out now. I keep in contact with Randy their main install guy. Super cool dude.

Went camping for the first time in forever, met up with the gf and her crew, slept in the 'runner but DAMMIT it's literally 1 inch too short for me to be comfortable. I'll probably have to look into getting one of those sleeping platforms or air matresses, and removing the rear seat bottoms to get that extra little bit so I can stretch out.

This is probably a dopey question but just bear with me here; is there some kind of storage for "shit you don't wanna have in the back" that isn't one of those rooftop clamshells? Like what I'm thinking is arrive to the campsite, put the extra shit in a little mini-tent or bin thing, and then set your mattress up in the back of the T4R??
