Yesterday during lunch I pulled the driver's side bed rail off, wiped it down, tapped the holes, ran a die over the bolts and reinstalled the rail and used anti-seize on the bolts.
This weekend I'm taping the harness, making a list of things to do (truck related) and if someone calls, which is usually the case, I'm busy.
Maybe I can sound deaden the back wall, I have all the stuff.

But first, a haircut is in order.

Soccer game for the kiddo at 9.
Followed by getting wood chips with my old man.
Followed by boys hair cut at 2:15.
Followed by my soccer game at 9pm.

Had accumulated enough points to fill up at Stop & Shop last week @ $0.60 off / gal. Still have 3/4 of a tank. I'm not leaving the house.

Hiked 9+ miles in today's heat. Ugh!! My wife and I are in training to hike the Dingle Way in Ireland later this year and we have been hiking 6 to 15 miles at least once a week since March of this year. We've noted that the pants that were a bit tight when we started now fit much more comfortably.

 

Cabinets got repainted today with the correct color.

Definitely can tell the difference. Looks great.

Monday they're coming back to put the doors back, and it'll be done finally.

 

Anyone else feel a little (thankfully) underwhelmed by the heat today? I was expecting the full mid-upper 80s that was in the forecast and like heavy humidity, but it's been really nice low-mid 70s and breezy with no oppressive humidity (at least here along the coast in New Haven). Fingers crossed tomorrow's forecast is overstated too ...

 

Wife said it was much cooler than expected up on the north shore, it was everything I was expecting in North NJ lol
