I don't see why @M37r1c doesn't just commit. I'll get the F450 and flatbed trailer on loan and we'll run out there this weekend.

 

2TR-FE isn't supposed to be too difficult to do a rebuild. It has a few odd little things, but they're super common across a bunch of different platforms.

 

Today's rabbit hole. How were the Pyramids built? I stumbled upon a theory that at least the casing bricks were cast, rather than quarried. Never even thought of that. Even the Romans had concrete from mixing volcanic ash, lime and saltwater.

It's not the worst, but it ain't great. Lol close and you can barely see the door wallop. Ideally could use a replacement cab

I believe " Wonder Showzen" had a small piece that covered that.
But given the usual content of Wonder Showzen I daren't cross post it.

 

There are some interesting engineering features surrounding the structures as well that lend that theory credibility. However if you consider the timeline of construction of the Sphinx and the water weathering of the surrounding rock, you start to wonder if we really know very much at all.

It's also kind of weird that there are no hieroglyphs or writing on the interior of the Giza pyramids, their design is entirely inconsistent with other tombs, no mummies were ever found inside, and the deliberate design features meant to create resonance like a whistle... WTF are they even for?
