I still have to go pick up my new permit. It’s been over a month, but driving an hour the opposite direction of work when the sheriff’s office closes at 3pm hasn’t worked out. :pout:

Mee maw passed Constitutional Carry for Alabama. After I renew my permit for 5 years! It doesn't go into effect until 2023 though.

I would have still gotten mine, in case we travel over to GA, TN, MS or FL. I think GA has constitutional carry, but our other surrounding states don't.

Thanks for the permit talk. I glanced at mine and it’s expired. I had to apply again today. Gave a call to a contact and hopefully I’ll have it next week.

It’s a great deal and a good design. If I wasn’t going hydro I’d get them. I haven’t forgot about you on the install. This weekend is shot unless I can get everything wired in these bathrooms tomorrow.

I’m intrigued. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have a real need for em, but I guess I also don’t see a down side.

No worries though. I know all too well how that kinda thing goes. I got a leaking kitchen faucet I gotta try to troubleshoot.

How do those increase strength? Seems like it's a nut with a tube attached. From the description there's clearance between the boar and the shaft, wouldn't that create a stress point?

Probably a pretty tight tolerance, but I think even if the tie rod deflects a bit before it hits the sleeve, it would help stop it from totally folding over. Would still allow the tie rod to be the fuse and not transfer a bunch of energy to the rack like heims and beefy inners might.

Shit I’m on the original rack and never bent or broke a tie rod with plus size tires for almost ten years now. I’m scared to do anything to it. I’ve never forced it to turn if I felt a lot of resistance. I’ll want hydro when I do 40’s just so the damn thing will turn easy. It was insane how easy Levi’s turned when I test drove his 37’s and locked

I can see benifits of full hydro in a trail rig for sure! I’m probably gonna upgrade my power steering pump and install slide rack since I still drive my truck long distances to places. That could possibly change one day if I decide to buy another truck. Only thing really stopping me is gas prices right now lol

    Corolla to good getting 28/36

Yeah that’s probably a solid upgrade for something that’ll see the street. If hydro goes out on the highway that’s all she wrote haha I was able to get 16.5 mpg in the f150 towing the taco to Tennessee. It gets about 18-20 regular mixed driving. That’s much much better than the taco was getting haha
