Finally got around to installing my $42.13 DrawTite receiver... pretty pretty pretty good



Also rotated my tires and hit the frame and undercarriage with a couple cans of Mavcoat

Tires are 245/75-16E Firestone Destination XTs

 

It's amazing how the price bounces around. Presently the hitch is $120.

 

My kind of truck right there. No bullshit, no nonsense.

Indeed. I grabbed this a couple months ago knowing that $40 was a steal. I mean what worthwhile mods can you do to your SR for under $50

 

I did the same thing. It’s sitting pretty on my SR.

 

Dang it, I missed my chance, just an hour ago it was posted at 47$ I was checking if it will fit my 2022 SR and now it's back to 116$.

 

The price has been going up and down. Keep checking.

 

I tried to check this morning. Went back down to 41$.

 

Just rolled over 20k miles this afternoon. Just under 10 months of ownership. SR is so much fun.

 

My old 2011 SR Access Cab 4x4 2.7 MT, which I just sold to a friend.


My brand new 2022 SR 4x4 v6 Double Cab.

I was planning on driving the old Access Cab until the wheels fell off, but am expecting a baby and the baby seat in the AC was a little too tight for comfort, literally.

I initially thought I wanted a TRD, but large in part to this thread and after a test drive I decided to stay with the SR and managed to score a brand new one (my first brand new vehicle also) at MSRP with a only a three week wait. The dealer gave me a good deal on some TRD Pro wheels and KO2s too. I look forward to hopefully many years of service for future family kayaking, mountain biking, and camping trips.

I’ll forever miss my old 2.7 manual AC, but man a V6 and a back up camera are nice!

 

You chose wisely. My only regret with my SR was that I didn't get it in white.

 

This will be my first post after lurking on these forums forever. Traded in my 2012 for a brand new 22 SR, my first brand new vehicle ever. Third Tacoma in a row now, no signs of stopping anytime soon!

 

Just turned 20k on my 2021 SR. Installed a sunroof, leveled it with Bilstein shocks and rear AAL, upgraded the stereo, Baja Design fog lights and light bar, PRP seat covers, BakFlip, SwitchPro inside…..just a have a few more boxes in the shop to install - Pioneer 6600, anytime front camera, hood struts…..then I should be about done on the mod’s for me!

Haha yup! It is a year today and I got 21,200! Thanks and yours as well! LOVE the SR model, hands down the best bang for the buck!

 

This is a damn good looking truck! I love those wheels and they look especially nice with the black lug nuts.
