The drizzly rain was delightful today.

The snow has already felled several large limbs on/around my property and there's one hanging ominously over my power line that I can't do anything about at this point. I suspect I'll be without power by morning.

    So yeah, rain.

    Yep, on the west side.

My power has actually been very reliable for the ~2 years that I've lived here. A few flickers during weather, but never totally out.

There have been some large-scale outages in the city (just not affecting my house) due to severe weather events knocking trees down. A few days with 70-90+mph winds, and this weekend's late-season snow. Heavy wet snow on top of trees that are already full of leaves means there are limbs down all over.

I have power at the moment but the flashing clock on my microwave tells me I lost it at some point. The limb I had my eye on last night is still up there, still threatening to drop at any time. The snow's supposed to keep falling most of the day.

    Stuff. Also things.
    Holy buckets!

We only ended up with maybe a couple inches of the slushiest snow I’ve seen in a minute.

Had to go out and shake the snow off a couple of our younger trees that had already leafed out. Didn’t lose any limbs, so all is well.

Been seeing some ads for Polygon. Look like an Australian company that expanded to the US? Some mid travel full suspension bikes for around $1400. Anyone here have one?

Awesome, I was looking at the T6-T7 for more affordable price. Have been reading some articles about the differences between them all.

Also been looking at the 2022 Marin Rift Zone 29er for about $1700.

Nice, yeah they're all good entry trail bikes. If I'm not mistaken, Marin is owned by the company that owns Polygon.

I bought a Polygon hardtail last fall and I think it was a great value for the price point. I do wish it had an air fork but for gravel and rollers it's not a real complaint

    That is a bummer.
I too lost a ash branch.
Lost a few of the new canes on some of the rose bushes. Saved some of the irises with a pop up sun shade.

That's good, trees are very nice to keep around :D

Yesterday I was looking at all the trees in old town thinking RIP and was pretty relieved when it stopped at 2" of accumulation and went back to raining.
