    Joy, its Saturday.

Front Diff - large snap ring is one major PITA! Massive tension in that thing. When I do finally get a good bite on it, I full expect that shit to come flying out the diff tube straight for my face. JFC.

Want to replace that bearing and clean the whole thing up. Too much debris in there to trust its OK. Sounds and feels like shit.

and to make it more interesting, either toyota changed the snap ring or parts dept sent me the wrong one.

The run is just on the other side of the wall. I'll probably be out about $100-$120 still though for 6/2 which is tempting me not to go 6/3.

"Why is your truck shinier in some spots than others?"
"Oh i used Rust-Oleum to touch up the big damage where lots of paint came off"

Success! Now just to remove/replace the bearing and good to go. Not sure if I can cheat and just use a 3 jaw puller or if its going to the press, I'll find out shortly. Looks like there is an indentation specifcally for the snap ring to indicate where the bearing should stop when being pressed on.

Found ATV 2 for my XBOX... Man I miss 2004 sometimes. Godsmack in a videogame, that won't happen again

Stopped in at a gas station that time has forgotten. This was originally Forest Heights Esso.

I saw a nice 1st gen on the left in the picture. The tire was low like it has not been driven in a while. I bet I can fix whatever problem it has.

The inner pumps are still full service. The attendants were filling tires and fuel today.

Cool to see something still in operation this long.

I still remember playing Twisted Metal back in the day. PlayStation with Rob Zombie on the soundtrack was awesome

I had ECGS install a Spartan in my V6 third not realizing it retains the factory side gears instead of replacing them entirely like the other lunchbox options do. Whoopsies daisies. I'm sure it will be fine
