Yeah - I effed up on that. Also the unexpected brake check of the camera bike really really sucked. Nothing in front of him - no reason to slow down like that. But I still should have been better.

I want to do the FRS seat swap like you did, and fortunately i dont have to worry about seat air bags, just the pressure switch for the passenger side

 

So much more comfortable than the factory Tacoma seats.

I went and looked at another 4runner yesterday and the frame on it is gorgeous but it needs sooooooooooo much work, I don't think i could make any money on it. It was basically one owner garage kept 99 with only 140k but the rear wheel wells rotted on it, from never being cleaned behind, the AC didnt work, valve covers leak, its never had a radiator, it has a check engine light, and the rack is probably toast. So I passed. I dont want to do anymore rust repair if i can avoid it. But i’d love to have another manual ‘something’ maybe another 4x4, or a 350z, a miata, nothing too involved

As soon as I change the oil on the Lex I'm swapping the oem plug for one and run a hose on that too.

Some people say it's a weak link if you off-road. I say bullshit. If you're scraping your oil pan, you need a new line, or a new spotter. Or some real armor.

Wife & I started on our pick up flower bed project today. Should look good when we're done and it all blooms and the vines grow out. Hopefully the deer dont eat'em.
