Hi Ya! I'll bet we get some rain if I finish watering in the next hour! For sure, we'll drop 20* for tomorrows high though. Could have used it today!
I removed our diseased Arizona Ash for the solar. Now, I can't be a shade tree mechanic!

Want rain? Wash your truck and park it outside.

But it doesn't work in Utah. It never rains in Utah.

Ha! They are always outside! Some day, the middle of the garage will be empty, and it will still be too small for the truck.

It rained here before I got home this evening. Neighbor said we got a good downpour - gratefully accepted and much wanted!!! Saw some cool lightening on the way home.

And if it holds together, it will be here when the last sprinkler turns off!

Good morning fellow Porchatonians!! I'm loving this hot weather! Unfortunately, we'll be back in the upper 60s and low 70s again soon.

Me personally I dont like the heat. Upper 60s and low 70s is perfect for me. I dont really like the cold either but I can deal with it better. So that's why I live in a northern climate. I could not live in the south. Been there many times trucking and just cant deal with the heat.

    Morning all:

After seeing the hearings on UFO's I keep thinking about what I saw while in boot camp. There is no way that whatever I saw that early morning was "OURS", and I mean like a zero possibility.
I had previously mentioned this on here, the speed that it traveled, being able to stop in an instant, the large triangle it maneuvered, and going up into space until no longer visible after maneuvering the triangle, is something I doubt that anyone can explain away, certainly by none of the explanations I have ever seen!

Just looked, home heating oil is DOWN to $5.199 a Gal., maybe by the time I need to fill the tank it will be "ONLY" $4.999 a gal., MAYBE! :(

The dash is out! Replace all the bulbs, with LED you can even change the color of the illumination. You do have to consider the dimming which may not be possible.

We are supposed to have cooler weather this week.

It is all about the airflow from the soffit to the roof vent and making sure there are no side vents or attic fans. I never realized there are college curriculums that include roof passive cooling. The University of Georgia is a pioneer with the classes they offer. I went with an Owens Corning total roof solution, which seems to be working well.

I see your driving is approved by your supervisor, straw boss and the hired laborer. Nice video.

Laundry was done and we went to the ballpark last night. The Baysox lost 4-3 but it was a decent game. The fireworks after the show were spectacular. We have not been that close to fireworks in a long time.

Today is towel wash day and we are going down to a place on the bay for dinner and live music. Stay cool today my friends.

Ha! So perfect weather is too cold for you. Anything over 80 is too hot for us.

I was at a Boy Scout camp on the east side of Bear Lake and saw something too, looking south. I didn't really think anything of it and would have forgotten the whole thing except that when I got home I was going through newspapers from when I was at camp and there were a couple of articles about people seeing UFOs at the south end of the lake. Weird s**t, these recent hearings.

    :pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! A blistering 63* this morning, getting to 79* - so, we get our break. When the last sprinkler timed out, and it was bed time, it looked like this (quite a light show);

It is easy to put on enough clothes to keep warm. Hard to take off enough to keep cool.

I find it hard to believe that we are alone! What I saw was very high up and if I wouldn't have seen it stop and go multiple times at extreme speed it would have appeared to be just another star that was just slightly different enough to notice it when I first caught a glimpse of it moving across the sky out of my perifacial vision. At first I thought it was a meteorite, but when I turned my head to watch it continue across the sky, it was nowhere to be seen, that's when I turned my head back to where I originally noticed it and focused on what appeared to be a slightly different "star" and then I saw what I saw.

Mine was in broad daylight. It looked like a silver, cigar shaped dirigible moving from the west to the east. There was an odd (in retrospect) triangle shaped afterburner kind of shape in back of it. It was moving slowly and the kid I was walking with and I both commented on what a blimp was doing in the area. We looked back several times to see it as we walked... and then it was GONE.
