Aftermarket wheel fitment

    bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....
    I got my '11 Tacoma Access Cab 4x4, SR5 last week with the 245/75R16 tires and ordered a set of wheels for my snow tires, in the 245/70R17 Size.

    However, the wheels, 17x8, 6 on 5.5 4.5" bs interfere with the brake caliper...Crager Black D window wheels looking sort of like this...



    will light grinding of the caliper fix this or do I need to find different wheels that do fit.

    Not just a rub...with the wheel bolted in place, solid interference against the caliper with a no turn condition.

    I think I have answered my own question here...

    Wheel rubs exist and are well known and documented and here is a low buck solution...

    scroll down for the $5 1/4" wheel spacers...

    The spacer is the easy way, but if that doesn't work, some have actually lightly ground the caliper to cure the rubbing.
