Got to take @AR15xAR10 and his lady's bike out for a little test ride this morning. Completely different than all the bikes that im used to.

The TW200 is a tractor in all the gears. 0 technology haha. Sometimes thats a good thing. Had to remember how to shift by listening to the engine, because there wasnt even a tach.

DRZ400 is fun, but i can see why its even more fun on 1 wheel. I cant do it though.

@w.adventures might be time to sell..

@fatfurious2 Love that tent set up!

    AR10 & AR15? Nice! I had a PTR 91 for a few years... should've gotten an AR10 instead...

You just need another bike to complement the African Twin. Like a 2-stroke KTM/Husqvarna

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Class of '77. Getting younger every year....oh hell, who am I kidding...still feel young...between the ears. Just finished major maintenance on the '18 MT09, valve adjustment, plugs, air filter, oil change, chain & sprockets @ 26,300 mi. Now it would be nice if we could get some May weather to burn up these tires...

That's probably the MOST surprising aspect of getting older for me, i.e. I still "think" young and get caught off guard when my body reminds me that I'm not. Been very fortunate in terms of overall health/fitness, so I'm trying to put up a good fight! :militarypress::D

There’s an easy bolt on Supermoto kit for the CRF300L

the problem with the two sets of wheels with one bike is that it will never truly be perfect

for SM ideally you want two calipers up front, just one on the street is kinda just cutting it

but then two calipers up front on the dirt and you gonna be washing out more than you would like if you're not super careful lol

not that either way is wrong either ya know :bikewhoops: just stay on the pipe and leave the brakes for the children

They have a quick bolt on adapter to jump the front to a 320 disc. Most guys leave the adapter on, bolt a 320 disc to their dirt setup as well, and the switch is fast and painless. Pull one wheel, put the other on, done.

The KLX300SM also has a single 300 disc up front.

DRZ400SM has a single 300 up front, and it’s more powerful and heavier than either the Honda or the Suzi.

I've definitely thought about the SM setup for my Rally but I don't feel I ride enough to make it worth while. And after my last ride in the hills I'm starting want something with more power. I've thought about selling the Rally and getting 2 bikes(1 dirt /1 street) but I can't bring myself to sell the Rally yet(only put 1500 miles on it) and would need to free up some more funds.
