Ah okay so they are wrapped from the production. I thought you wrapped it yourself similar to this one.

Yup..old BMX bike trick. Or WD40.

I've heard the hairspray can gel in the heat but I have yet to have issues with grips moving..though I always mount and let sit at least overnight.

That’s exactly what it is, here’s the leftovers

you scrape off the old grip, apply the double sided tape, spray with solvent and slide the new grip on. Not like taping a baseball bat, you just shove the full grip over the end, wait about 20 minutes and they’re stuck.

I'm not either, but some of those support beams don't seem to be on anything large enough to hold the weight that is intended. In the last picture, that support beam resting on the window frame is very, uh, sketchy. The same goes for the first picture, that ceiling truss should have at least a 4x4 (I think) instead of two 2x4s.

That looks like a renovation, not new construction. It also looks like an amateur who doesn't know the building code did it. Or maybe it's a contractor that thinks he can pay off the inspector to look the other way.

If that's MA, which I think it is, at least one side of the walls had to remain open until building, electrical, and plumbing inspect the work and sign of on it. At least that's what happened with my recent bathroom project. Trench was opened for soil pipe, rough framing, rough plumbing, rough electrical. Plumbing inspector came so that we could close up the floor. The electrical inspector. The rest of the framing was done, but inner walls and ceiling left open. A couple of changes the building inspector wanted to the insulation, after which the walls were closed, skim coated, painted. Floor was installed, finish electrical, finish plumbing, final trim and door installed.

Still waiting for the final inspection, but I'm using it anyway and don't care if they never come back.

Oh, in the middle of all of that the assessor showed up. He was interested in seeing the 8 year old boiler, but didn't even glance at the obviously under construction bathroom. :)

Anyway, that's my completely not a contractor impression of the pictures you asked about.

    Glad you asked?

Risky Ranch is only a few minute's drive from my house. I get that one. I took the ATV through there last year and it was in horrible condition from overuse. Or at least I think that was what I was on. It gets a bit confusing in that area.

Haven't been through Sucker Pond in a long time though.

It's funny on ours there are areas where you can see one person went above and beyond, and a different person did just the minimum

Here’s the finished shed. I intentionally did not keep track of the hours it took me to paint it. Let’s just say, a lot !

Well kinda. Since I changed the phone like you suggested it doesn't do that anymore but now I don't have any smiles/access to my photos or any of the other tools above where I type to chat.

    What is that?

He's the first one I went to (twice) and never heard back from him. Which I will say is VERY unusual.

Under forums, go to the bottom and there’s a ‘chat with the staff’ forum that’s basically a PM to the moderators. It’s only visible to you and them.
