Yup. Not in the position to buy unfortunately. Situation is better now though.

 

Without trashing the wheel?

 

You might have luck pulling the nuts that will come off and then yanking the wheel outward to put tension on the spun studs while trying to work the nuts off.

 

especially if you're using an impact

 

I should have got a pic of this. Stopped by my mom's to say howdy and her boyfriend was attempting to put new brake pads on his shitbox jeep Cherokee. Think it's a 95. There's 4 bastard open lug nuts on the driver's side that somebody went after pretty hard with an impact. They are twisted crooked over the lugs so pretty fucked up. I was able to get the oem lug nut and two bastard nuts to break loose but the other two spun. Thinking about drilling the studs but I bet they a pretty hard.

 

Is this some kind of bullshit or what?
