Learned that at least one stud on 3 of 4 wheel spacers are bent. They were removed, new wheel spacers ordered and an attempt to remove and replace the studs on the old wheel spacers will be done.

Teaser as DSLR pics are coming tomorrow:

Replaced my cabin filter. I have to drop the blower motor as there is a vibration on high. There were signs of a rodent in the filter. I’d like to keep the recirculate door closed but I know I’ll forget to do it. My only other option is to add a screen. Another thing to add to the list.

Installed/wired an amp under the passenger seat of my 2013 Access Cab last night. Installing/wiring new woofers/tweeters today. Passive crossovers installed in the door with adhesive. I've got the stock head unit and I'm using LC2i Pro for line output converter.

My original goal was to get a bit more bass out of a higher quality woofer, but the stock head unit didn't provide enough power so instead, the new woofers had zero bass.

My question to the world is, How long do I have before I start researching subwoofers and sinking money into that pit? :D

I had to add a screen to the upper intake for this exact same reason. Bad design on Toyota's part

I guess I need to go through the checklist, because it will do fine at idle for about five minutes before it gives up. I always thought it was a compressor overheating protection fault - but maybe it's something with the pulley or the magnetic clutch.

I have the blinking light and likely seized compressor. Thank God it'll be in the 70s tomorrow when going back to work, unlike the 90s today. I haven't used this fan probably in about 20 years. Just rigged it up today for the Tacoma. I'm glad I hang onto things. It's just to keep the air moving if I have to go slow due to traffic. Fortunately, that's usually not the case. Of course I will get the AC fixed when I can.

2.5" OME lift, Fox 2.5 coil overs, all pro expo leafs, ubolt flip kit w/ upgraded bump stops, 1.25" wheel spacers, 16" Bronze KMC Impact OL wheels, 295/75/r16 Nitto grapplers, beige Softopper, Brute force front bumper w/smittybilt winch, RCI rear bumper, caliraised rock sliders, TRD IFS skid plate custom swingout tailgate w/spare tire mount, TC bed stiffeners, Magnum force CAI, KC spotlights, tacomabeast headlights, rear seat molle panel odds and ends, hi lift, MESO interior lights, and a fuck load of patches… more planned for later.
Alternator took a dump on me, battery light came on while driving so I went and got it tested, idled at 9V and died as soon as I pulled in the driveway. Luckily bought a new one after the test and just swapped it out. Have the battery on a trickle charger now. Took an hour and a half because the damn thing doesn’t shimmy out (or back in) too easily.

    Here’s the new hardware

It should come out very easily, if it's not then the lower bolt was overtightened (spec is only 32ftlbs) And the alternator ears have been bent in compressing on the lower block horn.

Restored the headlights today. Wet sanded using a scouring pad, then 400, 600, 1000 and 2500 grit sandpaper. Then several coats of clear coat. I’ll use canuba wax to buff out the “orange peel” texture tomorrow after the clear coat has fully set. 10 years of yellow haze finally removed!

Did one on the '12 a few weeks ago. Only issue was not removing the sheet metal shroud before removing mounting bolts. Removed a 10 mm bolt or nut and didn't see the one facing the driver fender. Other than that it was a cake job. Removing battery simplified it.

One of my favorite Milwaukee purchases. Works off a battery or corded power. I've definitely used it in my vehicles before.

Yeah they do! I was too! I used to bring it from job to job in the shop I worked in. We didn't have an ac'd building and it was a life saver in the summer.

One of my sons swears by Milwaukee. I've heard great things about them. He just bought battery powered circular saw, doing a project on his deck. Several of my corded tools have electrical tape over wirenuts on the cords, several on the long outdoor extension cord. That fan looks great - when charged would probably be fine for my 23 or so minute commute.

What's cool is, as far as I know - the batteries are interchangeable on many of their tools/devices?
