I have never gotten stuck stuck yet on my stock wranglers. So the only logical step is to jump up 4.5 inches of diameter :)

I have wheeled medium before (hardrock offroad in FL and some obstacles in florida). I had been wheeling frequently and planned a trip for some harder trails when my sliders arrive but now gas is $5. So I am on hiatus for a bit.

Photo of what my 35x10.5s (probably measure out to 33 right now with wear) rub on under max compression. This is with the shock bottomed out as I blow through the superbumps all the way, and upper control arm bottomed out on the inner fender as well. Whole entire fenderwell, firewall, and body mount bushing due to deflection.

Are there any 33" skinnies (255/85r16) that are also 3-peak (3PMSF) certified?

I don't see either available as a 255/85r16. I have only been able to find mud-terrains.

They are available in 255/80r17 which is the equivalent outer diameter. I think when my 255/85r16 Wildpeak MTs wear out I'll pick up some 4runner take off wheels so I can run skinny ATs.

I recently started looking for that size in AT and am only finding MT as well. I have about 4-5 months before I need them, so not too worried about it right now though.

Here's my truck with the 255/85/16 Yokohama Geolandars. I have to admit I was a bit nervous going from the factory tires to these. I figured the MT tires would be noisy on the highway, but I can attest that they are near silent! I had a pair of BFG KO2's in 235/85/16 a few years back, and these Yokohama's are quieter. They also seem to roll really well. Before going with these tires I re-geared my truck to 4.88, and these tires are a perfect balance with those gears. 9338D1E0-CC35-4553-8277-31319AF4F465.jpg 34AAC13D-EFCB-4196-9F59-82F6AE5692B3.jpg E1EC3CE7-9B7D-45BB-9248-4DA329EA72DA.jpg

Looks great with the steelies. The Geolandars are definitely NOT silent, but I agree they're pretty quiet comparatively. They're a fair bit quieter than my Duratracs.

Maybe it's my configuration, or my tire size, but the noise from these tires are negligible. They make some noise on the highway, but it's not much, I mostly notice them at under 5 mph. Also after my re-gear I could hear a slight wine from the rear end when coasting at highway speeds. I can still hear that with these tires. I'm in the bay area with awful traffic, and my truck hasn't seen speeds over 60mph either.
