I don't think he did anything wrong given the context. I'm just surprised more people aren't claiming he should have went high and let the field go first.

 

I mean it’s one of those racing deals. I feel like Kyle did everything he could do. Everyone else seemed to navigate it fine. The 1 just thinks he is elite now and was trying to gain all he could and got caught. He should have lifted and got by and not shot the bottom to gain two spots.

After the interview Kyle gave Someone Needs To Kick Him Right In The Balls. He is the Worlds Biggest Cry Baby. Why didn't he stay up in the High Groove and let everyone go around before he dropped to the bottom in front of the pack? If the pack was bunched up he would have wrecked the whole field. Or was that what he was hoping to do since his night was done anyways?

Who knows what the spotter was saying. Personally I think he took his shot at getting to the apron as soon as he thought he could. Tough spot on the track to go anywhere when not up to speed. Nothing the 1 could have done and I don't fault the 18 for what he did. Should've, could've, would've.

Also, I didn't see anything wrong with his interview, especially for him.
