I used the following (yeah, I know - pricey but gift card balance and reward points lol) -

It is stable but then again I'm not pounding over rocks with 35s so :notsure:

I have the base bolted to the pop-out piece. If secured to the dash more permanently, I bet it would stand up to any trail abuse.

    Giving myself a crash-course on UltraGauge/ScanGauge.

UltraGauge has audible alarms. That's the one feature I can find that I'd miss from the ScanGauge II.

The permanently-attached cord on the UG is a bummer compared to SG's detachable/relocatable cord.

I found that there's a ScanGauge III listed now. I haven't seen any mention of it on the forums here: https://www.scangauge.com/products/productsscangauge-iii/

It doesn't look appealing to me, though--the UI looks cluttered and unpleasant to use, more complexity means more chances for bugs, and it's $250.

I use one of these stuck to the clock blank. Probably not as sturdy as a RAM mount, but super convenient. It holds up to moderately washboarded dirt roads.

I already broke the little blank where that RAM is by attaching a magic mount to it lol. The adhesive held up better than the plastic tabs

Sorry for the confusion lol. Such as the fenders from a 5 lug would be too small for a 6 lug, would the same be applicable to axle widths?

Does your truck have a clock?

The clock blank (when no clock was equipped) is molded into the trim piece. Good and sturdy. If you have a clock then swapping the trim piece would get you a decent mounting spot.

Weird. Usually you want to avoid metal at all costs when dealing with acoustics.

Anyone know of a writeup for a manual brake proportioning valve?

I'm sure it's not that hard but want to make sure I know what I need to get up front.

You're honestly best going through the top of the dash for anything of heft

Having the UG on the pillar was nice, didn't clutter up the dash

That’s where I have my phone mount. Took a while to get it just right, but it’s perfect now.
