Happy Friday All, I have a question regarding redline hood struts. I have on the passenger side a relay holder that seems to be right around were you would mount one of the strut mounts. Has anyone ran into any issues with the relay holder interfering with the struts when the hood is closed? Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

It likely would cause issues. I have the SP tray mounted there and made sure to purchase the spacers to prevent any issue.

But, @RedlineTuning is on TW and they have their own section of the forum here so they should be able to chime in to confirm.

Worst case scenario I would just relocate the relay.

Get a set of Spikers. I use Redlines in the past and they are nice but now using Spikers. They feel solid and just appear better. Don't get me wrong Redlines are nice but I can see a difference. Also for some reason the Spikers seem way smoother when opening and closing, might be the vehicles I used the Redlines on.

Thank you all for your input, with regards to the relay bracket interfering with the hood struts I figured the best way is to invert the relay bracket. Super easy install by the way.

My 21 OR does not have that relay. What is it for?
