I'm worried about things slowing down for him, too. He's been struggling since he started up a few years ago. Luckily, he does good work and his customers like him.

Wisconsin. But, hotel, tux, fuel, etc added up fast. Probably wasn't quite $1K, but close enough. Also had to have a bachelor party weekend in the Dells, which wasn't at all expensive. o_O

We had one in Lake Geneva not too long ago also. Tried to recoup my losses at the reception open bar but that turned into a sloppy fail lol

Late to answer the question but yes I was able to back out. The "shark fin" touches the garage door seal just slightly. Hoping it will settle but just thankful I didn't have to do other things to roll it out.

Yep I used lots of Super Lube / silicone / any grease I had that doesn't react with rubber. Beat the piss out of the shock hangers to spread them open. Still wouldn't go unless I shaved a C-hair off the face of the thing. Bizarre.

Luckily that wasn't the end of my fun and I spend about 20 hours of Sunday into Monday (today) until 4am getting things buttoned up. Found I have one LCA eccentric that is frozen while greasing them to be nice for the alignment tech, might need a new LCA now too. Front shock reservoir mounting bracket really screwed me too. Basically took me an extra 24 hours to get it all on there. I am going to call AccuTune after I get some sleep. Taco is at the shop and hopefully they can take it across the finish line and also do my exhaust re-route. Not having a good time right now but I just keep telling myself it will be worth it. Going to take a nap now.

Part of the cost was due to me standing up. Also, It was probably less than that, but still expensive enough to piss me off.

I am lucky to have a friend in Switzerland. I've been there twice to his chalet in the shadow of the Eiger mountain. Each trip was less than a grand, one was a week, the other was a week and a half. Talk about a bargain!

I got some new tires on Friday. Went with Toyo Open County AT lll 285/70/17.
I had 275/75/17 Hankook Dynapro atm.
Rubbing at full lock on cab mount. Anyone here do a CMC for me. I'm not a good welder.

I don't know if the 2nd gen is the same, but I have some 3rd gen CMC plates you can have. I got brackets for a CMR instead. Can't help you out with welding, I always use the equipment at work for my projects. But I will offer to drink your beer and supervise.

Before you do all that make sure your lineman is set up correctly with your caster set between two and four but leaning towards four. If you don't have adjustable UCA's I highly recommend getting some. SPC for the win

After just installing some SPC UCAs yesterday I agree with this. I currently have 265/70/17s which are like 31.6" tires and due to the adjustability of the SPCs I bet I can fit a 33 now and probably clear the cab mount without chopping. Once you see it you know.
