if I drop driver side down and passenger up it’ll come in contact with the bottom of the engine. I do plan on moving the engine up 1.75-2 inches so it should be fine. The main issue is full bump and driver side up/passenger down the trac bar hits the pumpkin. Picture below is frame at 24” and center of axle at ~17”.

I gave it a little bend just to see. Got rid of a lot of binding so Im going to tack in the coilovers and see what it does.

I was having clearance issues with the passenger coilover so I ended up cutting most tacks and moving things forward more and also went back to a straight track bar thats a little longer.

Well Im having trouble getting a VSS in the tail of transfer case to work.

I tried following a thread Wyatt posted a while back(link below) and I’m having trouble finding other info on this.
I hooked up the same way as in his post but speedo still won’t work. I tried two different VSS’s with same results and also tried wiring a little different...:annoyed:

Tested one of the sensors. (colors are from the harness that came from the sensor. )
    Red - Ground
    Black -Power
White - Sensing (Got resistance when spinning sensor gear.)

    Tested the harness
    ground - white
power - green/black (12V with key on only)
Sense - Red/yellow(assuming as this has worked on several trucks.)

when hooking it all together I did as follows but unfortunately did not work.
    Red to white
    Black to green/black
    white to red/yellow

any help would be greatly appreciated so I can have a working speedo and get rid of the P0500. I also have a code for P2610 if anyone has any suggestions. :fingerscrossed:

If anyone has a skid control schematic for a 2014 v6 auto I would greatly appreciate it.

So I have all this in my build thread which I saved for the time where I’m doing what you are doing (sas). Not exactly sure if it’s new information or will be helpful but here is what I have. This is a cumalation of posts I have saved from Wyatt’s build and also from some members on here

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/flatbed-35%E2%80%99s-and-mainly-parked-for-repairs.202916/page-36#post-2529407

Curious to see if it helps as I’m going to be in the same boat.

that is actually almost exactly what I was trying. That schematic though is different than the one for my truck unfortunately. I think my issue is coming from the CAHN and CANL wires. I got the speedo to work off the rear but I won’t be able to put the 14 bolt in…

Dang. I have an older 2010. Hoping to get this to work so I can get my 14 bolt in eventually. Subbed to see what you come up with.

Thank you for that. I will have to give it a try. I am going to run it as it is for a little bit, need to do the hydro assist and figure out some vibration issues:bikewhoops:.

I'll double back to the speedometer once I find a FJ case. If you happen to run across anything else let me know. the more the merrier. :burnrubber:

No worries. I’m hoping to be in your position soon enough so researching now while I waiting on time/funds to build axles. I know they have wheel sensors adapters for the jk’s that bolt up to the 14bolt. I’m not sure if we could do the same thing with our rear sensors. My other idea is just saying screw it and go to a gm transmission which does the gear shifts on hydraulic pressure and not computer input. Would open up t-case options down the road if needed.

And found some other good info in this post.

I don't think you'll have this issue. All the trucks I've seen pre 2012 have done the red/yellow wire without issue. I just can't seem to get info from anyone that has a 2012 or newer. Those I can don't have working speedometers.

Went out for a bit today. Truck handles insanely well overall. Wash board sucks though

Never ending. Hydraulic assist is mostly done. Need to change one of the fittings to a 90*

FJ case and twin stick in, now I need to replace the cover and make a boot. Overall this was one of the easiest things I’ve done lately.

Got around to my first attempt at making a dual boot for the FJ case.
