Pretty sure the answer is "no", but does anyone know for sure if the UCAs from a 2nd Gen Tacoma 4x4 will fit the 2wd model? Not the prerunner, just the base 2wd.

I just took delivery of my ECGS bushing and Oil seal. I am in search of an install & removal tool I can borrow, Oil Seal install tool as well if anyone has one of them too. Here I am in FL, 33584, I'll pay for shipping round trip.

 

I think I have seen a drawing of the 5 lug ones in the past and if it is what I remember, then no. I think the 5 lug used 2 bolts, one each front and rear while the 6 lug, 4wd or prerunner have 1 bolt that runs through both mounting points.

 

I figured the design was probably different and I'd imagine they are lighter duty than the 4x4 as well. Thanks!

 

Anyone have garage space (near Seattle/Eastside) I could use for a couple hours to do some maintenance? This single car garage isn’t working out too well. Can repay with beer or cash. Thanks!

Got a new set of BP-51’s and Deaver stage II leafs under the truck this weekend. Went smooth, only smashed my finger in the first 30 minutes this time.

I took the truck in for my last free oil change yesterday I went to put the skid plates back on and noticed the front diff covered in oil and it dripping from oil filter housing. I took it back in today to have them deal with it.

They told me they just made a mess but no active leak and “ it looks worse than it is because they skiplates weren’t installed”. First of all if the skid plates were on I would have never seen the mess. Secondly how is dripping oil from the housing not considered and active leak?

 

Anyone in the Spokane area? I need to get my exhaust to @shockdrop33...I live in Tricities and he's leaving on Saturday 5-28 moving to Boston. I'd like to drop off my exhaust to you and have you meet him on Saturday on his way thru. Anyone available?
