I just had to look up what it was. What the hell is going on people. Why are so many folks excited about a big ass gas station?

 

Buccees is like if circle K and Walmart had a baby with good food and “the cleanest bathrooms”

 

it's more of a one-stop truck shop for people . Food , fuel , clothes , and everything in between. Especially if you're a truck driver, that's the perfect place to stop

Maybe 10 years in a major city has affected what's exciting to me lol. I can't feature seeking out a gas station for any reason other than getting fuel and some drinks.

 

With having Wawa and Sheetz around me most of my life, I wish a buccees would open near me. I guess I’m a gas station rat haha

Sheetz would put circle k and every other gas station around outta business. Man I miss sheetz

 

Plenty of Sheetz around here and Mobil1, Exxon, Kangroos, sketchy-bodegas on the other 3 corners of the intersections

 

They're coming to NC... I miss when Sheetz told me I was getting close to "home" (PA)

 

QuikTrip has been my go-to since they moved up here. Love me some QT..

Buccees is supposed to be building off of hwy 85 exit 21.. not too far from my house.. I think that got pushed back to 2026 to give them time to redo that exit and intersection.. it's a congested mess as it is.

 

Yeah putting a Buccee's there now with that exit/intersection as it sits would not be a good thing. 178 backs up as it is and this would make it 100x worse probably. I also heard a while back there was a big truck stop coming to exit 32 at 8 & 85. They've cleared out a bunch of land there but not sure if the truck stop thing is still going through

 

I think that's either going to be a Loves or 7-11 up that way.

Those 2 red lights right at exit 21 throw everything off. In between that, QT truck stop traffic, and the 2 plants on 178 getting off work and going that direction, exit 21 has been a nightmare. I read somewhere that Buccees was going to put $1 million towards the redevelopment of Exit 21.. which is also why it got pushed back to 2026.

 

Nothing good comes from Florence. Most peeps in Florence never leave Florence.
I only go there for work and usually it sucks.

 

They built one in my "home" town of New Smyrna Beach after I moved to PA. It was kind of a WTF moment when I went from PA to NSB to visit.
