I'm not saying it was aliens... :tinfoilhat:

I'm just asking what it is if it isn't a tomb lol

The state of Egyptology as a discipline is largely rooted in art history when it should be more of an engineering focused, or at least more multidisciplinary than it is now. The historical Egyptian cultutre is obviously very old and the area has undergone a drastic ecological change in the last 3000 years in addition to the sea levels rising about 20 meters from the time just before the modern Holocene era, starting 8,000 years ago, to now.

When you consider modern human biology is essentially identical to humans from 200,000 years in the past, why wouldn't those "cavemen" be spooky clever? And if we go back that far, sea levels were 120 meters lower only 20,000 years ago.

Far lower population density is still a factor, but still...

That's the only slick on the truck right there. Surprised i didn't cause any more cracks tbh.

Not really but once i figure out my filler neck solution I plan to do fender liners. Snorkel worked like a champ though!

Some say they were for lung strengthening like modern day 'altitude masks'. There's also the theory humans were much stronger prior to the great floods.

I've had a.... 'thought' for a long time about the floods....

A lot of ancient writings use characterizations that were familiar to the people of the time, but that we recognize as certain scientific phenomena.

I've always wondered about the ancient/biblical floods..... Like..... What if the Halo writers were actually on to something..... (In concept, not detail) :alien:

    It's called the Antediluvian theory.

That's just referring to the pre-flood period, apparently.

For those wanting to research, "Antediluvian World" is the phrase

@Slashaar or, now hear me out, the post-glacial Black Sea deluge into the Mediterranean sea was pretty localized and we happen to have a cultural lineage descended from that specific region and we inherited the language and stories from then.

Could be. Seems like a lot of petrified wood and fossilized sea life have been found in mountains in the area.

Just a hypothesis. It still may have happened but been less impactful than the stories.

Rising sea levels are undeniable though.
