That M12 stubby certainly can pump some nut busting torque, at least in tests. I ran it on my fun low profile lugs that the SCS wheels require - it worked great in the driveway/backyard. Then last summer after blowing out the tire sidewall it just didn't want to break the 88-89 ft lbs. of torque on them...I think @EatSleepTacos saw a similar thing a while back and ended up using his pneumatic impact and powertank to bust the lugs off.

Again I've seen multiple YouTubers do torque testing and it's done 450ft lbs with little fuss with a 6.0 ah battery (which I had used in all cases)...so I was a bit surprised by the trail "impact" on the M12 stubby 3/8"...I have an M18 high torque 1/2, but those stubbies are so much lighter and smaller footprint in a tool bag/box!

Edit: Just realized my reading comprehension is significantly reduced between chasing a 2.5yr old around the in-laws places and the 96°F temperature on the mercury...I reread your post and completely missed "rachet" and assumed impact wrench vs. 90 racheting wrench!

Cools on the impact. Yeah, I’d seen some people complaining about the mid-torque impact. I have a corded, electric 1/2” impact that I will use when think of it. Most times forget about it. But that little battery operated ratchet I was referring to in my previous post is down right nice.

I have two in the basement of the Dueler Revo 3's I had on before the KO2's so I'm continuing with the those. Nice AT's, low road noise and worked well in all conditions. Stayed at 265/70/17 until I need a new set, then I may go up a size of two. KO@'s on stock wheels will be an off road set.

I gotcha. I was at Costco's tire center the other day to pick up a new car battery for my wife's car and was briefly looking at their tire selection. Nothing jumped out at me. Would be sweet if they could special order any and all tire brands, sizes, etc from other retailers.

I did some research before I bought these, and they got some good reviews. And they are designed to be a quieter tire with a semi closed outside treads. Aside from blowing sidewalls on trails, I was happy with them. And they were on sale with an installation discount as well. It was a free tire and $40 for complete install. Hard to pass up.

Yikes. When my St Maxx's came to the end of their life, it was my driver-rear tire that blew a flat while driving. Called AAA, they hook up their air compressor and kaboom, the mf'er exploded. That was a wild experience to say the least. If you don't mind, I'd love to see some pics once your new shoes get mounted and balanced on the rig.

Hey all, it’s me again. Just wondering if anyone knows of easy trails (mostly scenic) in the Virginia and maybe West Virginia area? Would be willing to drive a little over two hours. Doesn’t have to be anything crazy, just wanna stretch my Tacoma’s legs!

Peter's Mill Run is pretty easy, as is Switzer Lake to Flagpole. But you'll have limited cell coverage on both, so make sure your prepared.

That's hilarious, turned it into a calculus problem and solved for the integral. Guy must be a math major in college.
That's a phenomenal price. And I literally just bought my Ironman online yesterday.
