Daytona has a Buc-ee’s now. Shits wild. I went to one in Texas and one in Georgia last month. The brisket breakfast burritos are good. Fudge is good. Skip the jerky, was pretty disappointing.

I passed a Buc-ee’s under construction on my way through Kentucky. It looked liked a massive gas station. Seriously, like a Circle K and an airport runway had a child. Didn’t realize it had such a following.

Is it popular because if I find a Buc-ee’s I won’t have to sell my first-born to afford gas or do I still have a couple years to go before I can hope for that?

…what’s so great about this gas station?

You had me at “award winning bathrooms.” Nothing worse than hitting a bathroom so gross you want to throw your shoes away rather than the possibility of tracking their scum into your house.

So I went to the one in TX at like 3am. Silent, clean as hell, super friendly staff(think Chick fil a). We realized breakfast started at 4am so we hung out til it was brisket burrito time. Worth the wait.

Went to the Georgia location like mid morning(sometime before noon), it was fucking BUSY, but the bathrooms were still sparkling clean and the service was great. Their workers seem to be efficient. The only bad part is dealing with the swarms of indecisive customers. I hate people and crowds but the wide variety of products made it worth it.

I went to Buc-ee’s when I was stationed in Texas. Impressive. I’m just happy the midlands is starting to get QTs now, I always stop there when I go to the upstate (SC).

Did you get jerky from the bag or the counter? I’ll be honest, it beats Jack Links by far.

Oh I know, I’ll take anything over Jack Links but that’s all you can get at gas stations sometimes.

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.
Well we had some ambitious people (likely kids) hit the neighborhood last Friday night going through unlocked cars. Of course that night I didn’t lock the truck. Console open and glove box open but nothing missing. Tool kits in the access cab were untouched. Word I heard was a few guns were taken and some cash. Point I guess is my 380 that rides in the truck is under a false bottom in the console so that little trick worked well. Yes it restricts access if needed but it’s still there so worth the trade off I suppose. Also the hundreds of dollars in patches on the headliner weren’t touched either. Honestly more value there than in the 380.

Yeah a lot of neighborhoods are like that now. Young kids even adults are hitting cars grabbing loose money and that's about it and the guns if they happen to come across them

It’s been years since ours has been hit but there are a lot more houses and people than 10 years ago.

A few years ago, there was a kid in our general area breaking into cars at night. One guy had his truck broken into a couple of times. So the next time this kid came around early am, this guy confronted him. Kid ran but guy fired off a "warning" shot in his general direction. Hit him in the head, he dead. They initially charged him but either let him go or the jury quickly found him not guilty (can't remember). Of course the kid's "friends" online were talking about he didn't deserve that yada yada. Well, play stupid games.......

He's a hell of a poor shot if a "warning" popped the kid's grape
