    Afternoon all:

FINALLY got around to doing something that I may or may not have needed to do, retorqued the intake on the "66". The bolts did turn a bit from the original torque, but I've seen them looser after the initial running of the motor. I think I was good to go, but now I feel better knowing that they were checked and retorqued.
Also noticed a small leak at the accelerator pump, could be just loose bolts, a warped housing, or a bad diaphragm, just ordered a new kit for that which should take care of that problem.

Nice job there Bryan, it's amazing what people throw out that with a little TLC can be "recycled" and made as good as new.

With today's hurry up and wait society this came true this weekend... One of the neighbors saw me "tinkering" with our Trike and asked if we could use a 2nd :eek:o_O I have spent the last two days making it ours :smokertransformer: BUT that frees up space and time... Our 7 year old "basket case" that nobody could find parts for is now scrap .

    Morning all:

I probably should be cutting mine twice a week also, BUT I can push it to about every week and a half before it gets out of control. When you have a big yard that needs mowing it doesn't look quite as bad as a small one that needs mowing, at least that's what I keep telling myself!

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: For the furniture refresh and a big :101010: for the wife. She does know what is ultimately needed.

 My son is cutting our lawn twice a week. Caught a mole in the mole trap yesterday. Reset trap, I know there is another one out there.

Today is the last guitar lesson for the semester. I signed up for the summer semester which starts in mid-June.

Picked up a Choice whole beef Tenderloin at Harris Teeter on Monday for $55.00. Going to butcher it today and have some steaks for dinner.

Anyone have any suggestions for the chain muscle? I usually slice it up for K-Bobs on the grill. Goes great with shrimp and veggies.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! Looks like 1.4" badly needed overnight. Radar said it was impressive; I heard no thunder, saw one flash. Not severe when it got here - We'll take it.
Putz project turned out to be rearranging some wall shelves for the "sound PC" (old tower, two monitors - just for processing vinyl). Should have that back together this AM.
Wife has some gals coming over for a lunch - they hoped to be poolside. Quite a bit cooler today though. I'll hide in the garage and start the next Putz.

Us retired “mature” people don’t nap. When we’re kicked back in a recliner snoring it may look like napping but we are actually meditating and contemplating. In fact I’m about to contemplate and meditate right now.
