Ah, was unaware of that. The last time I installed vftuner I had to login.

    Definitely report back!

One of our testers tows a RV trailer, probably around the same weight I'd guess, and he came from a competitor's MagSC tune to YW and stuck with YW, preferring it significantly. Fwiw

Definitely the most interested in the regular fuel dyno, especially in this gas situation.

It will tow just fine - as good or better (based on comparison dyno's btwn YotaWerx and Magnuson) with both 87mm and 90mm pulley. I tow my 3k camper over the Continental Divide passes here locked in S4 which gives me 65 mph at 3500 rpm with plenty of pedal left for passing. These passes are 10500 ft and 11200 ft. on I 70. I also have towed the same camper over a twisty paved pass of 12,200 ft with no problem maintaining the posted speed. Keep the rpm in the power range and all is good.

I have not logged in for so long ago I can't remember doing so. Now just launch the program and go. ?? Current version is 1.6.3. sounds like you are using 0.0.1 :(

I have been sternly instructed by Mr @MOC221_ , and I quote, "for fuck sake don't mess with the low end!" Lol I think a lot of people are going to be very happy.

I was wondering if anyone had monitored trans temps while towing with the tune?

Actually, now that I think about it, I updated VFTuner before flashing the YotaWerx tune the other day...it didn't make me log in. It either slipped my mind or I assumed that it retained my login from the last time. oh well, at least it works and is less of a hassle now.

The new License scheme uses your vF Tractrix adapter, tied to the serial number. It seems that vF Tuner had recorded serial numbers to email addresses, which we used for Licensing in the past. So for the Version 1.6.0+ update, it just pulls that info the first time and locks us in on that serial number.

Also note that it was said that there is no more installation limit. Just that we are limited to one active vF Tactrix adapter per License. So, we can install vF on as many computers as we need, then plug in and launch when needed.

So, weird I know, but this is my first post ever to TW. I’ve been lurking and reading for a long time. I’ve been one of the testers for the the Stryker tune and have towed my Geo-Pro travel trailer a few times with it (3,800lb loaded). I never saw pan temps above 200°, and TC temps were around 215-220° when in traffic, it never came unlocked from 4th for any hills, so the TC temps stayed low. The increased power towing is incredible.

I do. I also have an extra trans cooler in parallel to the oem tow package cooler, and in tow season I pin the thermostat open. Non tow temp 150. Tow temp 175 normal and under heavy grade 185. I use a ScanGauge II. I also monitor the engine oil temp, coolant temp and alternator charging voltage. Fyi - transfluid temps over 220 are not good - extended period of time will bake it like molten sugar - aka cooler (below 190) is best.

I hate when my low end is messed up! Too old for that $%# and the fluid that causes it! Happy low end is a very good thing. I agree with @MOC221_ !
