Anyone ever camped in the WMAT Reservation? I am having a hard time figuring out where I can camp that isn't a dedicated campground. Like is me just finding a spot in the woods ok as long as I'm not in one of their closed off areas per their maps or 75ft of water per their rules.

Or should I just ask when I get there? Below is a screen clip of their camping regs

Yeah as long as you have their permit you can disperse camp wherever you pretty much find. Remember we are in stage 1. I believe the rez is its own enitity with their restrictions but its safe to just follow the current NF regs when it comes to fires.

Yeah they went to stage 2 monday and no propane fire rings, But I know a spot right on a river that will provide some quality napping time

Under Stage 2 propane fire is still allowed. Falls under the same rule as a propane stove. LP gas and positive shut off.
    Stage 3 things get fucky.

yeah I know. It was more of a general statement at everyone coming up here to camp from the valley. No so much anyone on here as I know we all would take care of what we are doing and not letting a little kid run around with a stick on fire. We already have all the wild land guys and hotshots camped up the street from my work waiting on the inevitable to happen this weekend. Some are staged to go to New Mexico to help out when called too.

That sucks. But if your will to eat chili and cornbread is strong enough you will make it happen and suffer thru it like the man you are!

It's the same as any C/K truck. They came from the factory with big blocks. You can even drop in a Cummins with essentially no modification to the engine bay.
