Thanks for the idea! It’s either that or try to stick them on my lawnmower, because why the hell not? :)

I think people are paying decent money for them. I remember wishing I had saved the ones I took off my truck after reading how much someone paid for some.

Yeah, sorry - I was just being a smartass. I’ll check the BST thread to see if I can find a market value. Technically, I can’t list them until I hit my 30-day birthday :)

Put me in the category of "must have", but my Taco is OEM as fuck. That said, I did what @Gyrkin did and ripped one off a few years back. Cost me $72 to replace and that was pre-supply chain/hyper inflation dollars...

Tackled leaking valve cover issue because started getting worse. Not ready to change gaskets as planning a timing belt change later this year and will change them then. Glad I did as bolts were loose and I found a lot of oil in upper and lower plenum. Cleaned it all up and replaced pcv. Everything went well but while cleaning the Throttle body I removed what I thought was the IAC. Paper gasket tore when I removed the plate and that's when I found out I don't know what I removed. Anyone know what this is called? 04 3.4L TRD Prerunner

Thanks, prev owner wrapped them in a shiny black that looks like electrical tape. Just ordered a set. If I can restore originals will keep them as spares.

A new pair from McGeorge is $150, I think I've seen them go on eBay in the $80-100 range, even in fairly rough shape.

    :annoyed:
Got underneath to install Daystar cradles, found that my rear third member is now leaking oil likely due to a point in the lift install where I had to put a jack on the third to raise the axle as there wasn't enough clearance under the pumpkin... hopefully I can just tighten it down some and be good, otherwise it may be time to replace the rear diff (oh no, how awful would it be if I could ONLY find one with an e-locker :D). This now means I have a leaking rear diff, leaking front diff, leaking rear main, and leaking steering rack :crapstorm:

finally got around to my add-a-leaf install for the OME dakars.. I got tired of tripping over them, and the wife gave me hell for all the stuff in the garage that I’ve never got around to installing.

Holy smokes - I just checked it all out too. I saw a set going for $260 plus shipping??? That is insane.

Well I did a thing. She has come along way. Crazy how a little TLC and splash of paint can make a HUGE difference. I can now fit in with all the new Taco's and they'll never know!! Let me know what you think.

Love it. Was thinking about getting mine painted eventually even if it's a cheapo job by MAACO just to freshen it up. I just need to replace some crunched body panels first... :anonymous:
