I remember doing snake watch while in the Army on a field exercise to Yuma, AZ… also had to watch out for scorpions getting in your boots or shoes at night..
Also was the time it rained the only that year… :annoyed:

I really like OKC - have you thought about this area? Huntsville is a great area, too if you're considering AL

Never been to OKC have a battle buddy that lives there not sure it's my cup of tea or not though. I have a love affair with water. I want a year round creek on my property.

Anyone else get a letter from BGE about cycling your AC on and off through out the summer on high demand days?
    20220525_161412.jpg

Really makes me wonder how they are going to charge millions of EVs in conjunction with high AC demand and that's just in MD not country wide. 400 Million EVs would be needed to replace the fueled vehicles, at a time we can't even get parts. Why are we governed by idiots?

Never lived there had a friend who grew up there he said there was a crack house on his street that was still there back in '13 of course out in Carroll County we had a meth house up the street before they got raided and the house went up for sale so drug homes are everywhere.

Ya know, I can't condone this, but I definitely get it. Having only driven through Baltimore numerous times, I can definitely understand why. It's no joke. I'm not even from NOVA (I'm from VB) but after moving up here, I've quickly realized how bad places like D.C., Baltimore, and many other places up here really are. It's sad, but at the end of the day you gotta do what you gotta do in order to make it home to your family at the end of the day. Period.

No live reports for Joppatown right now. I use the citizen app. Skip the pay section cause it's a free app apparently with a subscription service now lmao

Your risk vs reward may vary lol we went to a sketchy part to pick up covid tests that were out of stock everywhere near us, to be fair I have a carry permit MD just doesn't recognize it because they are in the business of protecting their criminals just like making victims retreat before using deadly force against your attacker.

That's a fact. Even being in LE, I make sure to carry an up to date and active conceal carry permit, along with my work credentials. I hate to get on a tangent, but I will do what I have to do to protect my family even if that means that I have to sacrifice my own freedom. I couldn't live with myself if I allowed something to happen to them and I didn't do anything to prevent it.

Some parts of Joppatowne are not bad… wait Joppa or Joppatowne? I’d really avoid joppatowne, not really a bad place, just an odd history. I’ll show a pic of the area to avoid if you’re still interested.
The story I got from my dad and his dad is that back during WW2 or around that time most of that area was only farm land. Well the US military have the farmers top soil for it that was contaminated from APG… I can’t remember with what but the town is built on that now. Of course since it was the military involved there is no proof…
Anyway, avoid Edgewood. Joppa has a lot of older houses but I don’t think anywhere really bad. Abingdon is congested.
