First and foremost this is going to be an insanely stupid question so please humor me...

Just found my front passenger LCA eccentric is frozen. The other three are moving, no rust, and fully lubed with anti-seize. That means at minimum I need to replace my passenger LCA and the front eccentric bolt that need to get cut out.

The dumb question: Are these 4 cam bolt assemblies a wear item? If my main concern is doing the job right should I replace all 4 eccentrics at the same time or is that just crazy talk? I've searched as much as I can and it doesn't seem like anyone in their right mind would replace them unless they are frozen.

    Thanks in advance!

Not generally considered a "wear" item or single use only.

They are denoted as reusable according to the FSM, although that is dependent upon condition; if you find that they are pitted grooved or otherwise worn excessively to your comfort level then of course go ahead and replace them, but no, they are intended to be reused until they are no longer serviceable.

Perfect thanks. I must have missed that note in the FSM, greatly appreciate the confirmation! Should save me about $100 not having to buy duplicate parts.

More precisely I should say it's not noted as single use like exhaust gaskets etc (which even so I also still reuse until they start leaking) therefore it's reusable.

Ahh I see what you mean about it not being noted. I did notice that but figure it doesn't hurt to ask because no manual has all the real-world answers. Still good to hear that I was on the right track thinking not all 4 have to be replaced if not needed. Again thanks!
