Yeah the trd beadlocks are long gone. Have to just get lucky and find someone selling a set somewhere. I found a cool toyota parts guy while in texas and he searched inventory somehow across us and 1 black rim was left up in Oregon somewhere and he shipped it to Nashville for me. He said it may make it there, it may never get shipped who knows but it showed as the last one in the states he said, and sure enough it got overnighted to Nashville and I got a call, I was shocked but I got my 5th rim. Paid over 400 for 1 rim though. The parts guys told me that's most likely the last one in the country.

I just stole bought these off of an old Toyota mechanic. He somehow bought them new from Toyota without a VIN. Only driven 20,000 miles.

In wild news Sparks Toyota listed (7) center caps on eBay earlier this week at original pricing (~$16 + shipping). I ended up buying a pair as they had three left. I don't know where they found them, but they actually arrived today. Whether that's a fluke or whether there are still some kicking around, I do not know. Mine had a package date of August 2020.

At this point I should probably stop hunting for spare parts. By my recollection I've got :
    • (1) Complete spare grey wheel / ring / cap / bolts
    • (4) BNIB center caps (1 has a mild factory flaw)
    • (1) Used Center Cap in fair shape
    • (4x) BNIB wheel bolts
    • (4x) Used wheel bolts
    • (1) BNIB ring (mild factory flaw)
    • (4) Used rings in various degrees of "good"
I really should pump the brakes. If the wheels weren't worth so much I might pick up three more just to have a backup set, but that gets me dangerously into hoarder territory, if I'm not already with (13) wheels kicking around already from my truck.

    My dream set of wheels.

Bronze wheels on black Tacoma. Scored these wheels and tires on Facebook marketplace. Tires at 90% tread. Perfect timing, someone bought my previous wheels and tires just a couple hours later. Including the sale of old set, total cost of new set was $1200.

Bronze 16" wheels on a black Tacoma look 1,000% awesome.

I just got these beadlock style wheels for my 2023 Off-Road. I love them. I don't see anyone else with these. Most others have the stock or the TRD Pro wheels. That is why I went with these instead. I love them.

The first-gen TRD Beadlock wheel was OEM on the FJ Cruiser, then OEM on the TX Baja 2nd Gen Tacoma, and was made in the UK.
The second gen, at first, were called Taco Alloy, they are not OEM on any Toyota, and made in MEX.

Just a quick clarification, they were never a factory-installed wheel. They were a port-installed option that was included in a package. For the original purchaser it made little difference, but as they were always considered an "accessory," their continued availability is much worse than an actual factory part.

I view the Port-Installed parts as OEM, and the Dealer-installed parts as aftermarket. I used to work for VW/Audi in the 90s.
